Abstract

วิทยานิพนธ์นี้ฉบับนี้เป็นการค้นหาแนวทางในการออกแบบสถาปัตยกรรมไทย ซึ่งที่ผ่านมาได้มีการนำเสนอแนวทางไว้หลายแนวความคิด ในแต่ละแนวทางก็ต่างให้เหตุผลที่จะนำมาสนับสนุนแนวความคิดของตน เนื้อหาให้วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้ก็เป็นแนวทางหนึ่งซึ่งเป็นแนวความคิดของผู้นำวิทายานิพนธ์ โดยแนวความคิดดังกล่าวมาจากพื้นฐานของความคิดที่ว่า สถาปัตยกรรมไทยนั้นมีความสัมพันธ์กับวิถีชีวิตแบบอย่างไทยก็สัมพันธ์กับพระพุทธศาสนามาช้านาน ฉะนั้นการนำปรัชญาที่เกี่ยวเนื่องกับกับพุทธศาสนาใช้เป็นแนวความคิดในการออกแบบและออกแบบโครงการให้ได้สัมผัสกับปรัชญานั้นจริงๆ ย่อมจะสัมผัสได้ถึงความเป็นไทย ซึ่งมีปรัชญาพุทธศาสนาแฝงอยู่ โครงการนี้เริ่มจากแนวความคิดเรื่องต้นไม้แห่งชีวิต ( The Tree of Life ) ซึ่งเป็นปรัชญาที่แฝงอยู่ในพุทธศาสนามีนัยบ่งบอกถึงความไม่เที่ยงแท้ของชีวิต ปรัชญานี้ได้ถูกนำมาผสานกับเรื่องสมุนไพรเพื่อโครงการเป็นรูปธรรม จากนั้นจึงออกแบบโครงการโดยใช้ห้วงเวลามาเป็นตัวสังเกตถึงความเปลี่ยนแปลง ตัวกำหนดห้วงเวลาก็คือ ช่วงเวลาในการเก็บสมุนไพร โดยสมุนไพรแต่ละชนิดจะมีช่วงเวลาในการเก็บเกี่ยวแตกต่างกัน เมื่อการสลับที่ของแปลงปลูกสมุนไพรทำให้เกิดที่ว่างที่น่าสนใจ ที่ว่างดังกล่าวจะเป็นพื้นที่วางอาคารซึ่งสัมพันธ์กับหมวดหมู่ของสมุนไพรที่จัดวางไว้ ผลของการออกแบบจะได้ที่ว่างซึ่งเปลี่ยนแปลงตามฤดูกาล เป็นการแสดงออกถึงความสัมพันธ์ระหว่าง Space กับ Time โดยที่ว่างที่เปลี่ยนแปลงนั้นเกิดจากการเก็บเกี่ยวสมุนไพรตามฤดูกาล การมาใช้โครงการในแต่ละช่วงฤดูกาลที่แตกต่างกัน ผู้มาใช้โครงการจะสามารถรับรู้ได้ถึงความเปลี่ยนแปลงและเป็นไปของธรรมชาติ ซึ่งเป็นนัยหนึ่งในพุทธศาสนาพูดถึงความไม่เที่ยงแท้แน่นอน การรับรู้ถึงปรัชญาในพุทธศาสนาซึ่งเป็นส่วนสัมพันธ์กับวิถีชีวิตแบบไทย ก็จะรับรู้ถึงความเป็นไทย

The aim of this thesis is to find out the new approach in Thai architecture design in which the various designs have been presented Each approaches gives reasons to support its own idea The content of this thesis is one of the approaches on which the author has been presented based on the concept described as follows Thai architecture has a closed relationship in the way of life of Thais and the way of life of Thais also has a closed relationship to the Buddhist religion for a long period of time. Therefore using a related philosophy with the Buddhist is an idea of a design and that would help to design a project to get closed to such a philosophy Moreover the sense of real Thai in which the Buddhist philosophy is resided could be touched. This project begins with a concept of The Tree of Life, a philosophy which is resided in Buddhist. It describes the inconsistency of life. This philosophy is merged into a herb in order to make the project to be non-abstract. After that, the project is designed in such a way that time manner is used as a noticed object of the variation. The key of time manner is the harvested time manner is the harvested time of herb. Each herb has a different harvested time. When the planted time into the project has been scheduled, the planted position for herb is known by swapping of the herb land As a result of that, it causes an interested empty space inside afterwards. It will be a building area related to a group of herbs which have been planted. The result of a design gives an empty space which is seas only changed. That will show a relationship between spare and time. A variation of empty space occurs because of seas only harvesting of herb. Using a project in a different season, a user knows a difference of season on the same position of plan. The user also knows a variation and natural behavior which is a part of Buddhist in which an inconsistency of life is stated. The perception of a philosophy of Buddhist which is a part of relationship to a way of life of Thais would be known about Thais.
