Abstract

ชีวิตของมนุษย์ประกอบด้วยสาระเล็ก ๆ พอกพูนเพิ่มขึ้นจนเป็นบุคลิกภาพที่บ่งบอกถึงความเป็นตัวตนของบุคคนั้น ๆ ความสลับซับซ้อนของจิตใจเป็นเหตุผลหนึ่งที่ทำให้มนุษย์นั้นต้องแสดงออกทางพฤติกรรมต่าง ๆ ตามเหตุและปัจจัยรอบข้างที่มากระทบ โดยปกติการแสดงออกนั้น ๆ มักถูกเก็บควบคุมโดยจิตใต้สำนึก ความรู้ และประสบการณ์ดั้งเดิมของตน เป็นทิศทางที่แต่ละบุคคลได้พิจารณาที่จะควบคุมให้เป็นไปตามแนวททางที่ตนคิดว่าเหมาะสม จึงไม่สามารถแสดงความปรารถนาดังสิ่งที่ตนต้องการอย่างแท้จริงได้ทั้งหมดอย่างเต็มที่ ซึ่งต่างกับผู้ที่พิการทางจิตหรือผู้วิกลจริตที่มีลักษณะเด่นทางการแสดงออกถึงความต้องการนั้น ๆ โดยปราศจากการควบคุมของจิตสำนึกความหยั่งรู้ สาระในชีวิตที่เคยมีอยู่จึงคงเหลือแต่เพียงสาระเดียวที่แสดงออกซ้ำ ๆ เป็นบ่งบอกถึงตัวตนว่าคือชีวิตหนึ่งเช่นกัน ข้าพเจ้ามีความเชื่อว่ามิตรภาพเกิดขึ้นได้จากการศึกษาเรียนรู้และทำความเข้าใจซึ่งกันและกัน เหมือนการได้อ่านหนังสือเล่มใหญ่ที่ต้องอาศัยเวลาในการพิจารณาสาระนั้น ๆ เรื่องราวของผู้วิกลจริตก็เป็นสาระแห่งชีวิตเล่มหนึ่งที่มีความน่าสนใจอย่างยิ่ง อันเป็นแรงบันดาลใจให้ข้าพเจ้าต้องการสื่อถึงนามธรรมบางส่วนเป็นผลงานศิลปะ ข้าพเจ้าอาศัยการแสดงออกถึงเรื่องราวเหล่านั้นในรูปแบบของหนังสือ (Art Books) โดยใช้เทคนิคภาพพิมพ์แม่พิมพ์โลหะบอกกล่าวถึงสาระทางนามธรรมที่พบในตัวบุคคลนั้น ๆ อันเป็นพฤติกรรมการซ้ำของวังวนความคิดที่ข้าพเจ้าเชื่อว่า เป็นสาระเดียวที่เหลืออยู่ของเขาในฐานะมนุษย์คนหนึ่งที่ยังมีชีวิตอยู่ในสังคมไทย

Human’s lives are built upon series of small pieces of essence into each person’s identity. The complexity in human’s mind stimulates people to behave in response to surrounding factors and forces. Generally, behaviors are controlled by a person’s conscience, knowledge and experience in a way that each individual believes in suitable. A same person cannot completely express their true desire. On the contrary, abnormal or insane persons are able to express their desires freely without suppression from their conscience. The understanding and knowledge of an insane people are presented only through a repeated action showing their identity as one of lives on earth. Series of essence and experience in lives are derived from repeated expressions that show their identity as a living individual. I believe that friendship come from learning and understanding each other lives in the same manner as reading ad thick book that takes time to learn its content. The story of insane people is like a book of life which worth studying. This becomes my inspiration to convey my impression into a work of art. I am presenting the story of an insane person in the form of an art book using metal plate printing technique telling the aesthetically abstract story found in that person. It is a story showing a repeated from of mind that I believe is the only remaining essence of a living individual.
