มิติของแสงและสี

Abstract

ในความเคลื่อนไหวของจักรวาลนั้นประกอบไปด้วยสัมพันธภาพของสสาร อนุภาคและพลังงานในรูปแบบต่าง ๆ ที่ประกอบตัวกัน สร้างให้เกิดรูปร่างลักษณะต่าง ๆ รวมทั้งมิติ สี และแสงที่มีพลังซึ่งในคติความเชื่อที่มีต่อจักรวาลที่สืบทอดกันมาของไทยก็มีการกล่าวถึงสัมพันธภาพต่าง ๆ ในจักรวาลเช่นกัน โดยสะท้อนให้เห็นรูปธรรมผ่านโครงสร้าง การวางตำแหน่ง ลวดลายและสีในสถาปัตยกรรมทางศาสนาของไทย ข้าพเจ้ารับเอาความคิดเห็นในเรื่องของจักรวาลอันเป็นเรื่องสากลกับความคิดความเชื่อทางศาสนาของไทย และถ่ายทอดความงามจากความสอดคล้องระหว่างทั้งสองสิ่งโดยแสดงออกในผลงานภาพพิมพ์ ซึ่งประสานทั้งสองส่วนเข้าด้วยกัน ด้วยการใช้รูปแบบทางนามธรรม อันได้แก่ การใช้ลวดลายและสีที่สั่นสะเทือนต่อการมองเห็น สร้างให้เกิดรูปทรงเรขาคณิตที่มีมิตินุ่มนวลประสานกันจากปฏิกิริยาของแสงและสี ประสานกับความคิดความเชื่อแบบไทย อันได้แก่ การกำหนดตำแหน่งการหมุนเวียนในจักรวาลในพุทธศาสนา และการใช้โทนสีในลักษณะไทยเพื่อให้เกิดสมาธิความหยุดนิ่งที่มีความหมายทางจิต โดยมีความเชื่อส่วนตัวอันสอดคล้องกับความจริงและความงามที่มีอยู่ในวัฏจักรของจักรวาลเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของพื้นฐานในการสร้างสรรค์

In the movement of the universe there appears the relationship of many things including the forms of matter and energy which give birth to various appearances with dimentions, colour and light that has power. In the beliefs of Thai Buddhism, the various relationships in the universe are reflected in the forms, structures, positioning, colour, and designs that are found in the artwork and religious architecture of Thailand. From these ideas and beliefs I have expressed the movement of feeling in a way that shows the relationships of shapes of smooth colours through geometric forms derived from design of Thai art and architecture. This is in order to created and reaction of colour and light with dimensions that deceive the eye with a multi-layered silk screen technique until one is unable to grasp or see the genuine form. Also, I want to reflect Thai beliefs about birth and death and the cycle of the universe with the feeling of the movement that has energy that is clean bright and quiet like meditation.
