Abstract

ศิลปินได้นำบันทึกของหลักศิลาจารึกหลักที่ 1 มาเป็นแรงบันดาลใจในการสร้างผลงานสื่อผสมและงานประยุกต์ศิลป์ โดยนำรูปสัตว์เช่น ช้าง ม้า และนก ตามลักษณะลวดลายแบบสุโขทัย โดยเฉพาะลายจากเครื่องสังคโลก มาทำให้เกิดร่องลึกบนแผ่นไม้วงกลมประกอบกับวัสดุอื่น ๆ และทำสี โดยที่การทำให้เกิดร่องลึกนั้นเพื่อให้เทคนิควิธีการสร้างงานมีความสอดคล้องกับเรื่องที่พูดถึง การบันทึกโดยศิลาจารึกก็มีการสลักหินเพื่อบันทึกภาษาที่ประดิษฐ์ขึ้นเพื่อบอกเล่าเรื่องราว ในขณะที่ผลงานของศิลปินก็เป็นการบันทึกด้วยภาพ และวัสดุต่าง ๆ ที่ประกอบขึ้นเป็นงานศิลปะสื่อผสม (mixed media) และงานศิลปะประกอบประโยชน์ใช้สอย (function art) โดยที่บันทึกของศิลปินเป็นส่วนที่เกิดจากจินตนาการที่มีต่อศิลาจารึกซึ่งเป็นแรงบันดาลใจ

The first stone inscription is my inspiration to create a mixed-media and applied-art piece. The forms of beings such as elephant, horse, bird and especially the earthenware motifs in the Sukhothai representational styles are engraved upon the circle-shaped wooden plate, incorporated together with other types of media and completed with coloring. The engraving process is to resemble the inscription process, which tells and records the story. For my work, the recording process is done through imagery forms and media, in the form of mixed media art and functional art. My form of recording is created using my imagination about the First inscription in order to express love, happiness, hamonious cohabitation as the light of the happiness dawn.
