ประติมากรรมสำหรับชุมชน

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาถึงการสร้างสรรค์งานประติมากรรมสำหรับชุมชน โดยเลือกเอาสถานที่แฟลตการเคหะแห่งชาติ ถนนรามอินทรา เป็นสถานที่กำหนดในการวิจัย ด้วยเหตุที่คำนึงถึงหน้าที่ของประติมากรที่ควรมีต่อสังคม ด้วยการเสนอแนะความคิดเห็น แนวความคิด ในด้านความงามทางด้านประติมากรรมต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมในเมือง โดยข้าพเจ้าจินตนาการประติมากรรมสำหรับชุมชนขึ้นในรูปลักษณะของสวนประติมากรรม ที่สนามอันว่างเปล่าของแฟลตดังกล่าว ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ ทำให้ข้าพเจ้าได้เห็นและได้เรียนรู้ถึงปัญหาต่าง ๆ ที่เกิดขึ้น ทั้งในด้านความต้องการของชุมชนที่มีต่องานศิลปบริสุทธิ์ และปัญหาในเรื่องของประติมากรรมกับพื้นที่ว่าง รูปทรงของประติมากรรม เทคนิค ทำให้เกิดข้อสรุปที่มีเหตุผลในการเสนอแนะและสร้างสรรค์สิ่งแวดล้อมของชุมชนให้ดีขึ้นกว่าเดิมในทางสุนทรียรส ผลของการวิจัยอาจก่อให้เกิดความนึกคิดต่อเนื่องในเรื่องของประติมากรรมสำหรับชุมชนในที่ต่าง ๆ และเกิดผลส่วนตนในด้านการพัฒนารูปทรงประติมากรรม ที่สำคัญที่สุดจะทำให้สภาพความเป็นอยู่ของชุมชน สิ่งแวดล้อมต่าง ๆ ที่จะเกิดขึ้นดีขึ้นกว่าเดิม โดยมีความงามของผลงานศิลปกรรมเข้าร่วมเกี่ยวข้องด้วย

This research aims to study the creation of communal sculpture. The National Housing Authority apartment building in Ramindra Road has been chosen as the site for the research project. Having in mind the sculptor’s duty toward society, I intend to express my ideas concerning the effect of sculptural beauty on the environment of a city. I have chosen to present a piece of communal sculpture in the form of a sculpture garden on the empty lawn of the building. Throughout this research, I have become aware of various kinds of problems concerning the communal need for pure art, the relation between space and sculpture, and the complexity of sculptural form and technique. It is to be hope that, through my research, I have, thus been able to provide an artistic proposal for a better communal environment. I also hope that this research may encourage a consecutive study of communal sculpture in other places and, most of all, it will help improve, in an artistic sense, the environment and the living condition of the coming community.
