ความรู้สึกส่วนตัวที่มีต่อลวดลายประดับสถาปัตยกรรมไทย

Abstract

การสร้างงานจิตรกรรมในชุดวิทยานิพนธ์ภายใต้หัวข้อเรื่อง ความรู้สึกส่วนตัวที่มีต่อลวดลายประดับสถาปัตยกรรมไทยชุดนี้ ข้าพเจ้าได้รับความบันดาลใจจากบรรยากาศที่ลึกลับและศักดิ์สิทธิ์ภายในวัด โดยเฉพาจากส่วนประกอบต่าง ๆ ของสถาปัตยกรรม เช่น ไม้จำหลัก ลายปูนปั้น ลายประดับกระจกสี ลายประดับลายมุก ซึ่งในเวลากลางคืนวัตถุเหล่านี้จะเรืองแสงแวววาวเมื่อกระทบแสง จากความประทับใจที่ได้รับนี้ข้าพเจ้านำมากลั่นกรองและผสมผสานกับความคิด จินตนาการ ตามความรู้สึกส่วนตัว แล้วถ่ายทอดออกมาเป็นผลงานในรูปแบบนามธรรม โดยวิธีการสื่อผสมที่ประกอบด้วยการเย็บ ปัก ถัก ร้อย บนผืนผ้าดำ

The idea concerning the thesis “Personal Feeling towards Decorative Ornaments in Thai Architecture” derived from how I was inspired by the mysterious and sacred atmosphere inside the sanctuary, especially from architectural ornaments such as wood carving, stucco or part of architectural ornaments covered with coloured – glass mosaie, motifs inlaid with mother – of – pearl etc. These ornaments, at night time, give a sparkling effect while touching the light. From these inspirations mixed up with my personal imagination and personal feeling I presented them in the form of abstract by using techniques of mixed media : embroidery on black cloth.
