ทาคาชิ มูราคามิ: บริบทของมังงะในยุคหลังสมัยใหม่

Abstract

การศึกษาเรื่อง ทาคาชิ มูราคามิบริบทของมังงะในยุคหลังสมัยใหม่ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา และวิเคราะห์บริบทแนวคิดหลังสมัยใหม่ที่ส่งอิทธิพลต่อศิลปะในญี่ปุ่นที่สัมพันธ์กับวัฒนธรรมมังงะ ของ ทาคาชิ มูราคามิ โดยใช้กระบวนการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ ในการศึกษาวิเคราะห์จากผลงานของศิลปิน โดยใช้ข้อมูลเอกสาร หนังสือ และข้อมูลสื่อสารสนเทศ รวมทั้งบทความทางวิชาการที่เกี่ยวข้องกับบริบทต่าง ๆ ที่ส่งผลต่อแนวความคิดและการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานของทาคาชิ มูราคามิ จำนวน 3 ชิ้น ได้แก่ 1. ผลงาน In the Land of the Dead, Stepping on the Tail of a Rainbow ปี ค.ศ.2014 2. ผลงาน Flower matango ปี ค.ศ.2001 3. ผลงาน DOB in the strange forest ปี ค.ศ.1999 จากการศึกษาพบว่า ศิลปะแนวความคิด (Conceptual Art) และมังงะ (Manga) ภายใต้ แนวคิดหลังสมัยใหม่ (Postmodernism) ทั้งสองสามารถเชื่อมโยงกันผ่านกระบวนการตั้งคำถาม ท้าทาย และรื้อถอนแนวคิดดั้งเดิมเกี่ยวกับศิลปะเพื่อเข้าถึงผู้ชมในรูปแบบที่เป็นสากล ซึ่งศิลปะใน ญี่ปุ่นและวัฒนธรรมมังงะถูกทำให้มาอยู่ในระดับเดียวกัน จากสัญญะและภาพตัวแทนที่ทาคาชิ มูราคามิ สร้างขึ้นเพื่อสำรวจและสะท้อนถึงอัตลักษณ์ทางสังคมและวัฒนธรรมในยุคหลังสมัยใหม่ ที่ ญี่ปุ่นต้องเผชิญกับการเลื่อนไหลและการถ่ายเทของขบวนการศิลปะในช่วงกลางคริสต์ศตวรรษที่ 20 การถ่ายเทได้ส่งอิทธิพลกับศิลปินแนวความคิดในญี่ปุ่นและมังงะอาวองการ์ด ในการท้าทายแนวคิด ดั้งเดิมเกี่ยวกับศิลปะ โดยทดลองแนวคิดในการใช้มังงะในการรื้อสร้าง (Deconstruction) แยกชิ้นส่วนที่ไม่ได้เป็นองค์รวมในแนวทางเดียว หรือเปลี่ยนรูปแบบของมังงะให้เป็นงานที่วิพากษ์และตั้งคำถามเกี่ยวกับความหมายของภาพและเรื่องเล่า แสดงแนวทางการสร้างจินตทัศน์แบบมังงะที่ ประยุกต์ใช้ในผลงานศิลปะแนวความคิดสร้างโลกกายภาพในรูปแบบทัศนศิลป์นำไปสู่คุณค่าในเชิง ประสบการณ์ทางความคิด

This study aims to explore and analyze postmodern concepts that have influenced Japanese art, particularly in relation to manga culture through the works of Takashi Murakami. The research is conducted through a qualitative method, analyzing the artist’s works using documentary data, books, informational media, and academic articles related to various contexts that affect Murakami’s ideas and creative processes. The study focuses on three of his works. 1. In the Land of the Dead, Stepping on the Tail of a Rainbow (2014) 2. Flower Matango (2001) 3. DOB in the Strange Forest (1999) The study reveals that Conceptual Art and Manga, within the framework of Postmodernism, are interconnected through processes of questioning, challenging, and deconstructing traditional notions of art to reach a more universal audience. In this context, Japanese art and manga culture are placed on an equal level that appeared through signs and representations created by Takashi Murakami. These elements are used to explore and reflect on social and cultural identities in the postmodern era, during which Japan experienced fluidity and the transfer of artistic movements in the mid-20th century. This cultural transfer influenced Japanese conceptual artists and avant-garde manga creators in challenging traditional artistic norms. They experimented with the use of manga for deconstruction, breaking away from stereotype forms and reimagining manga as a medium for critique and inquiry into the meaning of images and narratives. This approach demonstrates a way of creating manga-based imagination applied to conceptual art, forming a visual world that leads to intellectual and experiential value.
