Abstract

การศึกษาเรื่องศิลปะพองลม มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษารูปแบบ แนวคิด ความหมายของ ศิลปะพองลมที่มีลักษณะการจัดวางและนําเสนอที่แตกต่างกัน ผ่านผลงานของโมโมโยะ โทริมิตสึ, เคิร์ต เพิร์ชเคอ, เจเรมี เดลเลอร์, ลุค เจอร์แรม และกลุ่มศิลปินบ้านนอก ความร่วมมือทาง ศิลปวัฒนธรรม โดยใช้วิธีการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพศึกษาค้นคว้าข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับศิลปะร่วมสมัย และการ เกิดขึ้นของศิลปะพองลม เพื่อนําข้อมูลมาเรียบเรียงและวิเคราะห์รูปแบบ แนวคิด ความหมายของ ศิลปะพองลมที่มีลักษณะการจัดวางและนําเสนอที่แตกต่างกัน ผ่านผลงานของศิลปินที่ได้คัดเลือกมา ศึกษา จากการศึกษาพบว่าศิลปินร่วมสมัยมักนําเสนอผลงานที่เน้นแนวความคิดเป็นหลัก จึงมีการ ใช้วัสดุที่ไม่เป็นไปตามขนบแบบเดิม วัสดุพองลมถูกนํามาใช้เพื่อสื่อความคิดในหลากหลายบริบท ดังนั้นผลงานศิลปะร่วมสมัยที่สร้างสรรค์จากวัสดุพองลมของศิลปินที่เลือกมาศึกษา ส่วนใหญ่มักมี รูปแบบในลักษณะของประติมากรรมแบบลอยตัว สามารถมองเห็นได้รอบด้าน มีขนาดใหญ่ จึงสามารถดึงดูดความสนใจจากผู้ชม แต่มีลักษณะการจัดวางและนําเสนอที่แตกต่างกัน ซึ่งเป็นไปตาม แนวคิดของศิลปินแต่ละคน ทําให้ผลงานมีรูปแบบ แนวคิด ความหมายที่แตกต่างกันไป โดยผู้วิจัย จําแนกคุณสมบัติของวัสดุพองลมที่สามารถนํามาใช้สร้างสรรค์ผลงาน ได้แก่ 1.รูปลักษณ์ความเป็น ของเล่น ของจําลอง 2.ความอ่อนนุ่ม และ 3.ความไม่ยั่งยืน เพื่อสื่อถึงแนวคิด ความหมายของผลงาน ให้เป็นไปตามที่ศิลปินต้องการ

This study aims to explore the formats, concepts, and meanings of inflatable art which embraces various installations and presentations through the works of Momoyo Torimitsu, Kurt Perschke, Jeremy Deller, Luke Jerram, and Baan Noorg Collaborative Arts & Culture. Applying quantitative research, the study examines contemporary art and the emergence of Inflatable art for the purpose of arranging information and analyzing the formats, concepts, and meanings of the inflatable art through the works. From the study, it is found that contemporary art tends to represent its concept and therefore the materials applied are unconventional. Inflatable materials are applied to express ideas in different contexts. Generally, the works selected are in the form of floating sculpture, large, can be seen from all sides, and therefore attract the audience. They are installed and represented differently from each other according to the concept of each artist, leading to various formats, concepts, and meanings. The researcher categorizes the inflatable materials as follows: 1. appearances, statuses (toys/artificial things), 2. softness, and ephemerality, to refer to the concepts and 3. meanings of the works in keeping with the intentions of the artists.
