Abstract

การศึกษาเรื่อง สมมติภาวะจากธรรมะ มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อนำเสนอผลงานศิลปะไทยร่วมสมัย ที่มีเนื้อหาเกี่ยวกับหลักธรรมคำสอนทางพระพุทธศาสนา โดยได้แรงบันดาลใจมาจากกลวิธีในการ เทศนาของพระพุทธเจ้า คือการใช้อุปมาเปรียบเทียบสิ่งต่าง ๆ รอบตัวกับหลักธรรมที่ทรงแสดง โดย การเทศนาธรรมของพระพุทธเจ้านั้น พระองค์มีกลวิธีในแสดงธรรมที่แตกต่างกันตามแต่ละ สถานการณ์ และตามแต่ละสติปัญญาของบุคคล บางคนพระพุทธองค์ตรัสเพียงครั้งเดียว ก็สามารถ เข้าถึงธรรมะนั้นได้ บางคนพระพุทธองค์ต้องทำให้เห็นถึงสถานการณ์นั้นจริง ๆ และที่สามารถพบได้ บ่อยครั้งคือ พระพุทธองค์ทรงยกตัวอย่างในการเปรียบเทียบ เพื่อให้สิ่งที่เข้าใจยากนั้นเข้าใจง่ายขึ้น การใช้อุปมาเปรียบเทียบนั้น ถือเป็นหนึ่งในกลวิธีที่ใช้ในการสื่อสารตั้งแต่อดีตถึงปัจจุบัน เป็นวิธีการ สื่อสารหนึ่งที่ ได้ผลเป็นอย่างดี ถือเป็นการสื่อสารที่มีศิลปะและชั้นเชิง จึงได้นำเอาวิธีการเปรียบเทียบ นี้มาใช้ในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานศิลปนิพนธ์ โดยยกเอาหัวข้อธรรมมาพิจารณาว่าต้องการสื่อถึงอะไร และนำเอาตัวละครในวรรณคดีที่วิเคราะห์แล้วมีส่วนที่เชื่อมโยงกับธรรมะ โดยกล่าวถึงความรัก ระหว่างคนธรรพ์และนารีผล นำมาสร้างสรรค์ผลงานศิลปะไทยร่วมสมัย ที่แฝงด้วยคติธรรมทางพุทธ ศาสนา

The Art Thesis of "Conceptual Metaphors from Dhamma" aims to present the Contemporary Thai art that conveys from Buddhism Faith. This Thesis is inspired by the preaching techniques of the Buddha, particularly his use of analogies to relate everyday objects and situations to profound Dhamma principles. The Buddha’s approach to teaching varied according to the circumstances and the intellectual capacities of his audience. Some individuals grasped the teachings instantly upon hearing them once, while others required direct experience to comprehend them fully. One of the most frequently employed methods was the use of metaphorical comparisons, making complex concepts more accessible. The Meaning of analogies has been an effective means of communication since ancient times, demonstrating both artistry and rhetorical skill. This study adopts such a comparative approach in the creation of the artistic thesis, selecting specific Dhamma topics for interpretation. Characters from Thai literature are analyzed for their thematic connections to Buddhist teachings, mentioning the love between a Gandharva and a Nariphala. And are then incorporated into contemporary Thai artworks infused with Buddhist moral values.
