ผลงานชุด “A New Era Emerges” เป็นการศึกษาร่องรอยของการเปลี่ยนแปลง ความขัดแย้ง และการปรับตัวของมนุษย์และสัตว์ในพื้นที่ ที่ถูกหลอมรวมเข้าด้วยกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ ภายใต้บริบททางประวัติศาสตร์อันยาวนานของทวีปออสเตรเลีย โดยนำเสนอผ่านมุมมองของ Dark Tourism ซึ่งเป็นแนวคิดเกี่ยวกับการเดินทางไปยังสถานที่ที่มีอดีตอันซับซ้อน เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้ชมได้รับรู้และตีความความหมายของพื้นที่เหล่านี้ในแง่มุมที่แตกต่างออกไป ศิลปนิพนธ์ชุดนี้ถ่ายทอดการเดินทางสำรวจดินแดนที่เต็มไปด้วยร่องรอยของอดีต ตั้งแต่ทุ่งกว้าง ป่ารกทึบ ไปจนถึงพื้นที่ที่เคยเป็นฉากหลังของเหตุการณ์สำคัญในประวัติศาสตร์ โดยกระบวน การสร้างสรรค์ทางศิลปะถูกนำมาใช้เป็นเครื่องมือในการนำเสนอเรื่องราวและประสบการณ์ เส้นแบ่งระหว่างความงามกับความน่าสะพรึงถูกทำให้พร่าเลือน เพื่อเปิดพื้นที่ให้ผู้ชมได้สัมผัสถึงอารมณ์และบรรยากาศที่ทับซ้อนกันระหว่างความสงบของธรรมชาติกับเงาของอดีตที่ยังคงหลงเหลืออยู่ การผจญภัยในครั้งนี้มิใช่เพียงการค้นพบเชิงกายภาพ แต่ยังเป็นกระบวนการสำรวจและทำความเข้าใจความหมายของสถานที่ในเชิงลึก อีกทั้งยังเป็นการกระตุ้นให้เกิดการตั้งคำถามและขยายมุมมองต่อภูมิทัศน์ที่คุ้นเคยผ่านมิติใหม่ ราวกับเป็นการก้าวเข้าสู่ยุคสมัยใหม่ที่กำลังก่อตัวขึ้นจากร่องรอยแห่งอดีต

The series “A New Era Emerges” is an exploration of the traces of change, conflict, and adaptation between humans and animals within a landscape that has been profoundly shaped by the long historical context of the Australian continent. Presented through the lens of Dark Tourism—a concept involving travel to places with complex pasts—the work offers audiences the opportunity to perceive and interpret these spaces from alternative perspectives. This art thesis documents a journey through territories marked by remnants of the past, from open fields and dense forests to sites that once served as backdrops for significant historical events. Artistic creation becomes a tool for storytelling and experiential engagement, blurring the line between beauty and horror. This approach invites viewers to feel the overlapping atmospheres of nature’s tranquility and the lingering shadows of history. This expedition is not merely a physical discovery, but also a process of delving into and understanding the deeper meanings of place.
