Abstract

“การบริโภคเกินความจำเป็น” เป็นผลงานประติมากรรม เชิงสะท้อนความรู้สึกที่สร้างสรรค์ ผลงานสร้างสรรค์จากประสบการณ์ในชีวิตที่ได้พบเห็น สภาวะของสังคมในปัจจุบันการพัฒนาทางการอุปโภค-บริโภค ได้รุกรานเข้าไปสู่แกนโครงสร้างของธรรมชาติมนุษย์ใช้ความก้าวหน้าของวิทยาการใหม่นี้เปลี่ยนแปลงจัดการธรรมชาติเพื่อตอบสนองความต้องการ ตามแรงปรารถนาที่ไม่สิ้นสุดของมนุษย์ ซึ่งล้วนเกิดจากกิเลสทั้งสิ้น สรรพชีวิตอื่นๆ บนโลกนี้ได้ถูกแก้ไขเพื่อผลประโยชน์สาหรับบริโภค อย่างตะกละตะกลามที่ตอบสนองความละโมบในการบริโภคของมนุษย์เท่านั้น ผลของการบริโภคเกินความจำเป็นย้อนกลับมาสู่ตนเองอย่างหลีกเลี่ยงไม่ได้ องค์ประกอบของรูปแบบทางประติมากรรมในแนวเหมือนจริง รูปบุคคลในบริบท ของคนสองคนที่อยู่ในคนเดียวกัน และใช้วิธีการเพิ่มบางส่วนของร่างกาย และเปลี่ยนอวัยวะในร่างกาย เพื่อแทนค่าความหมายทางสัญลักษณ์ที่สัมพันธ์กับสภาวะความผิดปกติที่แฝงอยู่ในสังคมปกติ

“Excessive Consumption” is an expressive realistic sculpture that depicts an image of two people sharing one body. The additional parts of the human body and deformity in human organs symbolize the realization of being in an abnormal state which has to be concealed deep within the societies we perceive as normal. The inspiration of this artwork comes from daily experiences and activities of observing today’s society. As of now, excessive consumption has invaded the core structure of nature. In order to feed our needs, humans use advanced technology to transform nature. Other species’ nature has been forced to deform to feed human excessive hunger. These acts are merely to satisfy human’s need, an unlimited greed. Still, the consequences of excessive consumption will eventually come back as an inevitable fate for all human beings.
