การจัดทำคำอธิบายเอกสารจดหมายเหตุเรื่องสมเด็จพระมหิตลาธิเบศรอดุลยเดชวิกรม พระบรมราชชนกในสำนักหอจดหมายเหตุแห่งชาติ

Abstract

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อจัดทำคำอธิบายเอกสารจดหมายเหตุเกี่ยวกับสมเด็จพระมหิตลาธิเบศร อดุลยเดชวิกรม พระบรมราชชนก ระดับแฟ้ม ที่ให้บริการในสำนักหอจดหมายเหตุแห่งชาติ โดยประยุกต์ใช้มาตรฐานสากลทั่วไปในการจัดทำคำอธิบายจดหมายเหตุ ฉบับปรับปรุง ครั้งที่ 2 (ISAD (G) second edition) ของสภาการจดหมายเหตุระหว่างประเทศ ประชากรและกลุ่มตัวอย่าง ได้แก่ เอกสารจดหมายเหตุเกี่ยวกับสมเด็จพระมหิตลาธิเบศร อดุลยเดชวิกรม พระบรมราชชนก ที่เป็นเอกสารของหน่วยงานราชการไทยและเอกสารส่วนบุคคลในสำนักหอจดหมายเหตุแห่งชาติ จำนวน 150 แฟ้ม จากกลุ่มเอกสาร 21 กลุ่ม เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ แบบลงรายการเอกสารจดหมายเหตุสมเด็จพระมหิตลาธิเบศร อดุลยเดชวิกรม พระบรมราชชนก ระดับแฟ้ม ผลการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลคำอธิบายเอกสารจดหมายเหตุจากแบบลงรายการระดับแฟ้ม พบว่าเอกสารมีการระบุรหัสอ้างอิง โดยระบุเป็นอักษรย่อพยัญชนะไทย ตัวเลข และเครื่องหมาย มีการระบุชื่อเอกสารและวันเดือนปี ทั้งนี้พบว่าเอกสารมีอายุระหว่าง พ.ศ. 2437- พ.ศ. 2493 ขนาดและปริมาณของเอกสารระบุเป็นจำนวนแผ่นรวมทั้งแฟ้ม โดย 4 หน่วยข้อมูลนี้พบที่ปกแฟ้มเอกสาร เอกสารมีขอบเขตและเนื้อหาเกี่ยวกับ พระราชประวัติ พระราชกรณียกิจของสมเด็จพระมหิตลาธิเบศร อดุลยเดชวิกรม พระบรมราชชนก ตั้งแต่พระราชประวัติขณะทรงพระเยาว์ การศึกษาวิชาทหารบก วิชาทหารเรือ วิชาการแพทย์และสาธารณสุข ณ ต่างประเทศ ไปจนถึงการสิ้นพระชนม์และงานพระเมรุ เอกสารจัดเรียงตามลำดับเวลา ภาษา/ตัวอักษรที่ปรากฏในเอกสาร ได้แก่ ภาษาไทย ภาษาอังกฤษ ภาษาเยอรมัน และภาษาฝรั่งเศส ลักษณะทางกายภาพและความต้องการทางด้านเทคนิคที่พบมี 2 ลักษณะ คือ เอกสารในรูปแบบเอกสารต้นฉบับ เป็นกระดาษฝรั่ง และเอกสารในรูปแบบไมโครฟิล์ม หน่วยข้อมูลเหล่านี้ได้จาการประมวลผลการอ่านเอกสารรายแฟ้ม ทั้งนี้หน่วยข้อมูลคำอธิบายเอกสารที่ไม่ระบุในระดับแฟ้ม เช่น ประวัติหน่วยงาน/ประวัติเจ้าของเอกสาร เงื่อนไขในการเข้าถึง และการทำสำเนาเอกสาร พบว่ามีข้อมูลอยู่ในบัญชีสำรวจเอกสารที่สำนักหอจดหมายเหตุแห่งชาติจัดไว้ให้บริการแก่ผู้ค้นคว้า และระเบียบกรมศิลปากร การจัดทำคำอธิบายเอกสารจดหมายเหตุเกี่ยวกับสมเด็จพระมหิตลาธิเบศร อดุลยเดชวิกรม พระบรมราชชนก ระดับแฟ้ม ในสำนักหอจดหมายเหตุแห่งชาตินี้ เป็นการจัดทำคำอธิบายเอกสารเฉพาะเรื่องเพื่อช่วยให้ผู้ค้นคว้าสามารถสืบค้นเอกสารจดหมายเหตุเกี่ยวกับสมเด็จพระมหิตลาธิเบศร อดุลยเดชวิกรม พระบรมราชชนก ในสำนักหอจดหมายเหตุแห่งชาติได้สะดวก และรวดเร็วยิ่งขึ้น

The objective of this thesis is to create and archival description of HRH Prince Mahidol of Songkla at the file level providing services in the National Archives by adapting the use of the General international Standard Archival Description (second edition) of the international Council on Archives. Subject and samples of this study are the records of HRH Prince Mahidol of Songkla which are the records of Thai government agencies and personal papers held in the National Archives totaling 150 files from 21 groups of records. The research instrument is the form used for recording descriptions of HRH Prince Mahidol of Songkla at the file level. The result of the analysis is as follows; the records show reference code(s) by and abbreviation using Thai consonants, numbers and symbols. All record have a title and are dated. The records are dated from 2437 to 2493 B.E. The extent and medium of the unit of records are identified by the number of sheets of the whole files. These 4 elements are found at the cover of the files. The records have scope and content about biography of HRH Prince Mahidol of Songkla from childhood and other activities such as Army studies, Naval studies, medical and public health studies, until the death and funeral. The records are arranged chronologically, Language/scripts of materials are in Thai, English, German and French. As for the element of Physical characteristics and technical requirements, the files of records are two types, in the form of (western) paper and in microfilm format. All of these elements are summarized from reading the files individually. Additionally, there are some elements which are not given at the file level, but they can be found descriptions in the inventory of list at the National Archives providing services to researchers and in the regulations of the Fine Arts Department such as the administrative /biographical history, conditions governing access and reproduction. The archival descriptions for the special collection about HRH Prince Mahidol of Songkla at the file level in the National Archives of Thailand which provides convenient to researchers to get information quickly and accurately.
