DEVELOPMENT OF RHYTHMIC SIGHT-READING EXERCISES USING RANDOMIZED RUBIK'S PATTERNS FOR AN ONLINE PLATFORM

Abstract

This research aims to create online exercises for reading basic rhythms using randomization of a Rubik cube by 1) studying the Rubik cube randomization and dividing a group of selected notes and rests into 10 groups before placing them onto 54 different positions of a Rubik cube. A web-based version of the exercises are later designed using different programing languages, 2) publishing the web-based exercises for the accessibility over the internet, 3) testing the exercises on 400 musicians from 4 regions of Thailand, in combination with the statistics gathered from internet users during the testing period of 1 month.

The research yields the following results: 1) web-based exercises for sight reading basic rhythms using randomization of a Rubik cube, 2) a reduction of limitations to rhythmic sight-reading exercises by using the web-cased version, 3) by testing the exercises using a pre-test and post-test method, the results indicate that the participants gain proficiency in basic rhythms reading.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสร้างแบบฝึกหัดออนไลน์สำหรับการอ่านจังหวะพื้นฐานโดยใช้รูปแบบการสุ่มของรูบิค โดยมีขั้นตอนที่สำคัญ ดังนี้ 1) พัฒนาต้นแบบ โดยศึกษาโครงสร้างกับระบบการสุ่มของรูบิค คัดเลือกกลุ่มโน้ต และตัวหยุดพื้นฐาน 1 จังหวะ แบ่งโน้ตที่คัดเลือกเป็นกลุ่ม ๆ ตามประเภทรูปแบบของการพัฒนา 10 กลุ่ม การจัดวางกลุ่มโน้ตต่าง ๆ ลงบน 54 ช่องของรูบิค รูปแบบการเรียงรูบิคแบบกลุ่ม 16 ลูก ออกแบบโครงสร้างแม่แบบที่จะใช้บนเว็ปไซต์ และเขียนโปรแกรม (Program Code) ระบบสุ่มของรูบิค 2) เผยแพร่ผ่านทางเว็ปไซต์ ให้ผู้ใช้ทั่วโลกได้เข้าใช้ได้จากทุกที่ที่เข้าถึงอินเตอร์เน็ต 3) ทดสอบแบบฝึกหัดการอ่านจังหวะแบบแรกเห็น จากผู้ให้ข้อมูล ซึ่งเป็นเป็นนักดนตรี 400 คน จาก 4 ภูมิภาคของประไทย กับการรวบรวมข้อมูลสถิติผู้เข้าใช้เว็บไซต์จากผู้ใช้ทั่วโลกเป็นเวลา 1 เดือน

ผลการวิจัยได้ผลลัพธ์ดังนี้ 1) แบบฝึกหัดออนไลน์สำหรับการอ่านจังหวะพื้นฐานโดยใช้รูปแบบการสุ่มของรูบิค 2) การลดขีดจำกัดในการเข้าถึงแบบฝึกหัดการอ่านแบบฝึกหัดแรกเห็นด้วยรูปแบบออนไลน์ 3) การทดลองเพื่อเปรียบเทียบผลการใช้เว็บไซต์ ในระยะก่อนการทดลองใช้และหลังการทดลอง โดยใช้วิธีการวิจัยเดียวและวัดผลก่อน ทำให้ผู้ทดลองมีความชำนาญมากขึ้นในการอ่านโน้ตแรกเห็น
