The purpose of this research was to study the context of tourism in the multicultural area of the Death Railway. Study the behavior of tourists in specific groups with special interests traveling on the Death Railway. and design identity and development of creative cultural history tourism activities It was carried out in the form of Research and Development (R&D), using a mix method, qualitative research by questioning and interviewing the local population including academics experts in related fields and quantitative by using a questionnaire to collect data from a sample group of 400 tourists to analyze, synthesize, together with the integration of art, design and various theories in an appropriate format to create a creative tourism strategy model.
The results of the study revealed that 1) the context of tourism in Thailand with historical resources in the area. It is one of the factors that attract outsiders to Kanchanaburi by dismantling the elements into 3 parts: area, people, and identity in order to select them for designing a narrative of the past in the present time. Pleasure is to relax and see history. and learn culture Classified as fun-loving tourists and eco-tourists. 3) Presenting the charm of local stories. Allowing tourists to have an impressive experience through participation between locals and tourists, leading to repeat visits and word of mouth to achieve sustainability in the area Able to apply the “MOST MODEL” tourism strategy in the area to solve problems and develop tourism models in other areas.
The researcher has suggestions for applying the research results and suggestions for further research. It was found that leaders and local people It plays an important role in the participation and interpretation of local stories for tourists to understand and exchange in culture. and history to create new experiences and impressions for tourists And in doing activities may ask for cooperation from private groups in the design of tourist routes. การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาบริบทการท่องเที่ยวในพื้นที่พหุวัฒนธรรมเส้นทางรถไฟสายมรณะ 2) ศึกษาพฤติกรรมนักท่องเที่ยวเฉพาะกลุ่มที่มีความสนใจพิเศษที่เดินทางมาเส้นทางรถไฟสายมรณะ 3) ออกแบบอัตลักษณ์และการพัฒนารูปแบบกิจกรรมการท่องเที่ยวประวัติศาสตร์วัฒนธรรมเชิงสร้างสรรค์ โดยดำเนินการในรูปแบบการวิจัยและพัฒนา ใช้วิธีการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลแบบวิธีการผสมผสาน เก็บข้อมูลวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ โดยการสอบถาม สัมภาษณ์จากกลุ่มประชากรคนในพื้นที่ รวมถึงนักวิชาการ ผู้เชี่ยวชาญในด้านที่เกี่ยวข้อง และเชิงปริมาณ โดยการใช้แบบสอบถามเก็บข้อมูลจากนักท่องเที่ยวกลุ่มตัวอย่าง จำนวน 400 คน เพื่อนำมาวิเคราะห์ สังเคราะห์ ร่วมกับการบูรณาการศิลปะการออกแบบและทฤษฎีต่าง ๆ ในรูปแบบที่เหมาะสมสู่การสร้างโมเดลกลยุทธ์การท่องเที่ยวเชิงสร้างสรรค์
ผลของการศึกษาพบว่า 1) บริบทการท่องเที่ยวในประเทศไทยที่มีทุนทางทรัพยากรมิติทางประวัติศาสตร์ในพื้นที่ เป็นปัจจัยหนึ่งในการดึงดูดคนนอกพื้นที่เข้ามา กาญจนบุรี โดยถอดองค์ประกอบเป็น 3 ส่วนคือ พื้นที่ คน อัตลักษณ์ เพื่อคัดเลือกมาใช้ในการออกแบบให้การเล่าเรื่องอดีตในเวลาปัจจุบัน 2) พฤติกรรมนักท่องเที่ยวส่วนใหญ่มีจุดประสงค์ในการเดินทางเพื่อความเพลิดเพลิน คือ การพักผ่อน ชมประวัติศาสตร์ และเรียนรู้วัฒนธรรม จัดอยู่ในกลุ่มนักท่องเที่ยวประเภทรักสนุกและพวกนิเวศนิยม 3) นำเสนอเสน่ห์ของเรื่องราวในพื้นที่ ให้นักท่องเที่ยวได้รับประสบการณ์ที่ประทับใจผ่านการมีส่วนร่วมระหว่างคนในพื้นที่และนักท่องเที่ยวนำไปสู่การกลับมาเที่ยวซ้ำและบอกต่อ เพื่อให้เกิดความยั่งยืนในพื้นที่ สามารถนำกลยุทธ์การท่องเที่ยว “MOST MODEL” ไปประยุกต์ใช้ในพื้นที่เพื่อแก้ปัญหาและพัฒนารูปแบบการท่องเที่ยวในพื้นที่อื่น ๆ ได้
