ภาษาไทยยวนที่ตำบลท่าช้าง อำเภอเสาไห้ จังหวัดสระบุรี

Abstract

วิทยานิพนธ์เรื่องนี้ มีจุดประสงค์ที่จะศึกษาถึงระบบเสียง ระบบคำ และการเรียงลำดับคำในภาษาไทยยวน ที่ตำบลท่าช้าง อำเภอเสาไห้ จังหวัดสระบุรี ซึ่งมีลักษณะคล้ายกับภาษาไทยถิ่นเหนือ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า หน่วยเสียงภาษาไทยยวน มี 3 ชนิด คือ หน่วยเสียงพยัญชนะมี 21 หน่วยเสียง สามารถเป็นพยัญชนะต้นได้ทุกหน่วยเสียง เป็นพยัญชนะต้นควบได้ 6 หน่วยเสียง และเป็นพยัญชนะท้ายได้ 9 หน่วยเสียง หน่วยเสียงสระมี 21 หน่วยเสียง จำแนกเป็น สระเดี่ยว 18 หน่วยเสียง และสระประสม 3 หน่วยเสียง หน่วยเสียงวรรณยุกต์มี 6 หน่วยเสียง ระบบคำได้จำแนกหมวดคำออกเป็น 16 หมวด โดยอาศัยตำแหน่งของคำในประโยคเป็นเกณฑ์ การเรียงคำในระดับวลีและประโยคมีลักษณะเช่นเดียวกับภาษาไทยมาตรฐาน ระบบเสียงภาษาไทยยวนมีลักษณะใกล้เคียงกับภาษาเชียงใหม่มากกว่าภาษาไทยมาตรฐาน เนื้อหาของวิทยานิพนธ์นี้ แบ่งออกเป็น 7 บท คือ บทที่ 1 เป็นบทนำ กล่าวถึงความเป็นมา ความมุ่งหมาย และขอบเขตการวิจัย บทที่ 2 กล่าวถึงภูมิหลังเกี่ยวกับท้องถิ่นและชาวไทยยวน บทที่ 3 กล่าวถึงระบบเสียง บทที่ 4 กล่าวถึงระบบคำ บทที่ 5 ระบบไวยากรณ์กล่าวถึงการเรียงคำ บทที่ 6 กล่าวถึงความแตกต่างทางระบบเสียงของภาษาไทยมาตรฐานกับภาษาไทยยวน และภาษาเชียงใหม่กับภาษาไทยยวน บทที่ 7 เป็นบทสรุปผลการวิจัย และข้อเสนอแนะให้ผู้ที่สนใจได้ศึกษาเปรียบเทียบภาษาไทยยวนถิ่นต่าง ๆ และศึกษาการใช้ศัพท์ในกลุ่มคนต่างระดับอายุ ในภาคผนวกผู้วิจัยได้แสดงข้อมูลจำนวนร้อยละของประชากรที่พูดภาษาถิ่นสระบุรี แผ่นภาพคลื่นเสียง และคำศัพท์บางคำที่ใช้พูดในชีวิตประจำวัน

The purpose of this thesis were to study phonological, morphological systems and word order of the Tai Yuan dialect at Tambon Tha Chang, Amphoe Sao Hai, Changwat Saraburi ; it is like a Northern Thai dialect. The results of this study found that there are 3 kinds of Tai Yuan phonemes. There are 21 consonant phonemes which can all be used as initial consonants, 6 cluster initial consonants and 9 final consonants. There are 21 vowel phonemes that can be separated into 18 simple vowels, 3 diphthong vowels and 6 tone phonemes. About morphological systems, there are 16 word classes and sentences are similar to Standard Thai Language. The phonology of Tai Yuan is more similar to Chiengmai dialect than Standard Thai Language. The content of this thesis is divided into 7 chapters Chapter 1 is about the background of this thesis, the purposes and the limits of research. Chapter 2 is about the local background of Tai Yuan and the people of Tai Yuan Chapter 3 is about Phonology Chapter 4 is about Morphology Chapter 5 is about grammar (mostly word order) Chapter 6 is about the difference between Standard Thai language phonology and Tai Yuan and the difference between Chiengmai dialect and Tai Yuan Chapter 7 give a summary, and comparisions with Tai Yuan in other places, and says something about vocabulary differences with age groups. An appendix shows percentages of Saraburi people who speak different dialects and also shows some spectrograms and some vocabulary lists of common words.
