รอยพับของความทรงจำ

Abstract

ชีวิตเปรียบเสมือนการเดินทางที่ประสบการณ์ระหว่างทางนั้นเราต่างเจอเรื่องราวทั้งดีและร้ายแต่กลับมีผู้คนไม่มากนักที่จะผ่านอุปสรรคไปได้ทั้งหมด บ้างก็ท้อแท้ บ้างก็ผิดหวัง ทั้งการเรียน การงาน ครอบครัวและความรัก ฯลฯ บางครั้งการได้นึกถึงความทรงจำในอดีตอาจทำให้ผู้คนต่างตระหนักถึงความสุขที่หลบซ่อนอยู่ ณ ช่วงเวลาใดเวลาหนึ่งของการเดินทางที่อาจเป็นกำลังใจให้สามารถก้าวไปข้างหน้าได้อย่างมั่นคง ความสุขความทรงจำในอดีตของข้าพเจ้าคือช่วงเวลาวัยเด็กที่ได้อยู่กับแม่และเล่นพับกระดาษด้วยกัน สิ่งนี้เป็นแรงบันดาลใจในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานศิลปะภาพพิมพ์รูปแบบสองมิติด้วยเทคนิคภาพพิมพ์แกะไม้ชุด “รอยพับของความทรงจำ” โดยใช้รูปทรงกระดาษพับ (Origami) รูปทรงต่าง ๆ เช่น สัตว์ ดอกไม้ ใช้เป็นสัญลักษณ์แทนความสุขในอดีตที่เราผ่านพบมาไม่ว่าจะเป็นความสุขสนุกตอนยังเด็ก จินตนาการที่ไร้ขอบเขต ความรักจากครอบครัว รอยยิ้มจากคนที่รัก โดยกระดาษพับนั้นถูกจัดวางอยู่ในวัตถุที่สะท้อนถึงการเก็บรักษา เช่น ตู้ กล่อง ลิ้นชัก เป็นต้น อีกทั้งยังมีหยากไย่เกาะตามสิ่งของทำให้รู้สึกถึงความทรงจำที่มีช่วงเวลาของอดีตเข้ามาเชื่อมโยงด้วย เพื่อให้ผู้ดูตระหนักถึงความสุขที่หลบซ่อนอยู่ในอดีตของตัวเองและนำมาเป็นแรงผลักดันและกำลังใจต่อการใช้ชีวิตในปัจจุบัน

Life is like a journey, that we have to experience good and bad things, but not many people that could pass all the obstacles. Some are disheartened; some are disappointed from studying, work, family or love etc. Sometimes thinking back into the past makes us realize the happiness that is hidden in the passage of time, which becomes an encouragement for living a stable life. The happiness in the artist’s past is from the moments the artist spends folding paper origami with his mother, which became the inspiration of his artwork to fold several kinds of origami, such as animals and flowers. These forms symbolize the happiness in the past, whether it will be the enjoyment of childhood, the boundless imaginations, familial love or smiles from our loved ones. The origami is placed in objects that reflect the meaning of preservation, such as cupboards, box, drawer, etc., also in the artwork there are spider webs that helps links to the past, which makes people realize that there is happiness hidden in our past and it can become a source of motivation and courage for living.
