การวิเคราะห์งานวาดเส้นร่วมสมัยไทยในต้นศตวรรษที่ 21 (ค.ศ. 2000-2012)

Abstract

การวิเคราะห์งานวาดเส้นร่วมสมัยไทยในต้นศตวรรษที่ 21( ค.ศ. 2000-2012/ พ.ศ. 2543-2555) เป็นการศึกษาวิจัยผลงานศิลปะแบบการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพแนวปราฏการณ์วิทยา (phenomenological research) อันมีจุดมุงหมายหลัก คือ ทำความเขา ใจอย่างเป็นระบบกับปรากฏการณ์การสร้างสรรค์งานวาดเส้นร่วมสมัยไทย ในต้นศตวรรษที่ 21 ทั้งนี้ผู้วิจัยสำรวจเอกสารสิ่งตีพิมพ์ หนังสือจำนวนมาก และทำวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพโดยสัมภาษณ์ศิลปิน อาจารย์และนักวิชาการศิลปะ ผู้สร้างสรรค์งานวาดเส้นหรือเขียนบทความเกี่ยวกับวาดเส้นจำนวน 7 คนและศิลปินรุ่นใหม่จำนวน 13 คน และนำมาวิเคราะห์เชิงพรรณนาประกอบภาพผลงานศิลปะ จากข้อมูลทั้งหมดนำมาอธิบายปรากฏการณ์สำคัญ 3 ประเด็น คือ วิธีคิดต่อการนิยามความหมาย ลักษณะของการสร้างสรรค์และวิธีคิดของศิลปิน ได้ดังนี้ คำว่า “วาดเส้น” จำกัดขอบเขตแคบกว่าความหมายที่แท้จริงในภาษาอังกฤษ ที่เข้าใจทั้วไปเป็นความหมายในเชิงวิธีการ หรือเชิงวิชาการที่จำกัดอุปกรณ์ว่า ต้องเป็นแท่ง และทำอากัป กริยา ลาก ขูด ขีด เขียน บนกระดาษ นักวิชาการจึงแยกนิยาม “วาดเส้น”เป็น 2 ระดับ คือระดับเครื่องมือในการศึกษาและฝึกฝนการปฏิบัติงาน และระดับงานสร้างสรรค์ที่เสร็จสมบูรณ์ในตัวเอง ซึ่งกลายเป็นความหมายอย่างกว้างของ “วาดเส้นร่วมสมัย” และวิธีคิดของศิลปินต่อนิยามไม่มีผลต่อการสร้างสรรค์งานวาดเส้นร่วมสมัย ลักษณะการสร้างสรรค์งานเส้นร่วมสมัยไทยในต้นตวรรษที่ 21 นี้มีความเป็นไปได้ใหม่ ๆ หลากหลายซึ่งนำมาวิเคราะห์ได้ 3 ประเด็น คือ การสร้างให้เกิดลาย/รอย เครื่องมือหรือกลวิธีให้เกิดลาย/รอย และพื้นผิวหรือวัสดุรองรับ ประเด็นสุดท้ายคือ วิธีคิดและมองโลกของศิลปินในแง่ความจริงในงานวาดเส้นนั้นมีผลต่อวิธีการ และลักษณะงานสร้างสรรค์

The analysis of Thai contemporary drawing at the beginning of 21ST century (a.d.2000-2012) is phenomenological research. The principle purpose of this thesis is to study towards systematic understanding of art culture phenomena especially to Thai contemporary drawing at the beginning of 21ST The researcher collected data from various kinds of sources for example, documents, books and in-depth interviews as a qualitative research (including 7 artist lecturers and 13 young artists) All contents are compiled by descriptive analysis with artwork. This research explores and describes Thai contemporary drawing at the beginning of 21ST which are 3 principle phenomena: how to definite “drawing” and “contemporary drawing” how to produce (creative process) and artist’s attitude by analysis of a work of art. The meaning in Thai word “wad-sen” is confined to “drawing” In general meaning, it is a method or process meaning that refer to two dimensions art work done by pencil or anything that roll or bar characters that can used to and do action as draw on paper. But “contemporary drawing” defines as an artwork with boarder definition that depends on artist’s ideas. And there is no relationship between artist’s attitude about definition and creative process. Thai contemporary drawing’s has many characteristics of creation. They can be analyzed in three issues as follows: what materials are used, on which surfaces and using what kind of marks. The last issue is artist’s perspective of truth in drawing effecting to creative process.
