แนวทางการจัดการท่องเที่ยวทางวัฒนธรรม บ้านน้ำเชี่ยว จังหวัดตราด

Abstract

การศึกษาครั้งนี้มุ่งศึกษาแนวทางการจัดการการท่องเที่ยวทางวัฒนธรรม บ้านน้ำเชี่ยว อำเภอแหลมงอบ จังหวัดตราด ซึ่งเป็นพื้นที่เก่าที่มีประวัติศาสตร์ วัฒนธรรมและมีทรัพยากรทางวัฒนธรรม ที่สามารถนำไปจัดการท่องเที่ยวทางวัฒนธรรม เพื่อต่อยอดการท่องเที่ยวเชิงนิเวศภายในชุมชน เพื่อให้เกิดความเหมาะสมและยั่งยืน ด้วยวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ โดยการสำรวจเก็บข้อมูลภาคสนาม การสังเกตการณ์ ทำการสนทนากลุ่ม และศึกษาเอกสาร ผลการศึกษาพบว่า การจัดการท่องเที่ยวของบ้านน้ำเชี่ยว เริ่มต้นในปี พ.ศ. 2547 โดยเน้นการท่องเที่ยวเชิงนิเวศเป็นหลัก ด้วยจุดเด่น คือ ระบบนิเวศป่าชายเลนที่อุดมสมบูรณ์ และมีการนำวิถีชีวิต วัฒนธรรมของชาวมุสลิมในชุมชนบ้านน้ำเชี่ยวเข้าไปร่วมในการท่องเที่ยวของชุมชน แต่ยังขาดข้อมูล องค์ความรู้ด้านประวัติศาสตร์ท้องถิ่น วัฒนธรรม และภูมิปัญญาของชุมชนบ้านน้ำเชี่ยว ที่มีผู้คน ทั้งมุสลิม ไทย และจีน อยู่ร่วมกันด้วยดีมาช้านาน และด้วยความเป็นชุมชนเก่า ที่มีประวัติ พัฒนาการมายาวนาน จึงทำให้มีทรัพยากรทางวัฒนธรรม ที่สามารถนำไปต่อยอดสู่การจัดการท่องเที่ยวทางวัฒนธรรม เสริมการท่องเที่ยวเชิงนิเวศที่มีอยู่ก่อน เพื่อให้เกิดความเข้าใจชุมชน ภาคภูมิใจ และธำรงรักษาวัฒนธรรมอันเป็นอัตลักษณ์ของชุมชนเอาไว้ได้อย่างเหมาะสมและยั่งยืน แนวทางการจัดการท่องเที่ยวทางวัฒนธรรม จำเป็นต้องมีการศึกษาประวัติศาสตร์ พัฒนาการของพื้นที่ ทรัพยากรทางวัฒนธรรมต่าง ๆ ที่มีในชุมชน นำไปสู่การเรียนรู้และถ่ายทอดให้คนในชุมชนและคนนอกชุมชน ได้เข้าใจ ภาคภูมิใจ และสร้างความเข้มแข็งในชุมชน ควรมีการจัดการทรัพยากรทางวัฒนธรรมทั้งที่จับต้องได้และจับต้องไม่ได้ ด้วยการส่งเสริมการรักษา ฟื้นฟู สืบสานวัฒนธรรมชุมชน ควรมีการพัฒนาโครงสร้างพื้นฐานอย่างเหมาะสม เช่น ศูนย์ข้อมูลและบริการ ป้ายเล่าเรื่อง ป้ายบอกทาง และควรมีการส่งเสริมการตลาด และการประชาสัมพันธ์ ตลอดจน ส่งเสริมการมีส่วนร่วมในการบริหารจัดการการท่องเที่ยวอย่างมีเอกภาพ เพื่อให้การท่องเที่ยวของบ้านน้ำเชี่ยวเกิดความยั่งยืน

This research aims to study the management approach to cultural tourism of Ban Nam Chieo, Laem Ngob District which is a very old area in Trat Province, thus making it historically and culturally significant. The community’s rich background and resources are useful to mange cultural tourism and to continue eco-tourism in the neighborhood. To make it stable and appropriate as a qualitative research the following actions will be undertaken : data collection, field work observation, group discussion and document study. The research findings indicate that tourism management of Ban Nam Chieo has started since 2004 focusing mainly on eco-tourism which highlights it as a perfect mangrove forest system. It also brings the folk way of life together with Muslim culture to blend with community tourism. But the community still lacks data about the knowledge of local historical aspect, culture and Ban Nam Chieo folk wisdom which asserts that Thai, Muslim and Chinese can live together ever since. Since the old community has a rich history that develops and continues it can manage cultural tourism and support eco-tourism that has been there for a long time. These will improve community understanding and pride to maintain the community’s characteristic and culture in a suitable and stable way. Studies should be conducted regarding history, area development and cultural resources. Such tangible and intangible resources should be managed appropriately supporting the maintenance and restoration of the community culture. Moreover, the community should be developed by providing infrastructures in a suitable way like information and service center, historical signs and road signs. These will support marketing and public relations including participation in unique tourism management and will lead to public awareness among locals and outsiders alike. This will lead to understanding and pride that will strengthen and secure Ban Nam Chieo’s tourism.
