Abstract

โลกในธรรมชาติที่ดูเหมือนจะยุ่งเหยิงไร้ระเบียบซึ่งเราอาศัยอยู่นี้ หากมองด้วยความพิจารณา และสังเกตอย่างใกล้ชิดแล้ว จะเห็นพื้นฐานของความเป็นระเบียบ ซ่อนอยู่ในโครงสร้างของรูปร่างที่ไร้ระเบียบนั้น วิทยาศาสตร์ได้ค้นพบความจริงว่า โครงสร้างและรูปลักษณ์ในความหลากหลายของธรรมชาติ ล้วนมีรากฐานที่สัมพันธ์กับคณิตศาสตร์ และคณิตศาสตร์ที่เห็นได้ง่ายที่สุดก็คือ เรขาคณิต ทุกอะตอมโครงสร้างของสรรพสิ่ง ล้วนสามารถอธิบายได้ด้วยการจัดระเบียบทางเรขาคณิต ระเบียบจึงมีความสัมพันธ์ที่เด่นชัดกับทุกสิ่งในธรรมชาติ การมองเห็นของเรามักถูกกำกับโดยความสม่ำเสมอของหน่วยต่าง ๆ ที่ประกอบกันขึ้นเป็นแบบรูป ซึ่งปรากฏอยู่ในธรรมชาติและมนุษย์สร้างขึ้น จิตใจของเราถูกกระตุ้นให้สนใจกับความงดงามในรูปแบบเฉพาะของแบบรูปนั้น และประสบการณ์นี้อาจช่วยเผยให้ถึงความงามทางศิลปะที่ซ่อนอยู่ในความเป็นระเบียบของแบบรูป เมื่อข้าพเจ้าสร้างสรรค์งานศิลปะ ระเบียบและแบบรูปทางเรขาคณิตได้เป็นพื้นฐานนำไปสู่การออกแบบค้นหารูปทรงบริสุทธิ์ ด้วยการใช้จังหวะของเส้นและสีก่อตัวทับซ้อนกัน เกิดเป็นระนาบที่มีปฏิกิริยาของลักษณะผิวเลื่อมพราย เคลื่อนไหวเปลี่ยนแปรอย่างต่อเนื่อง สร้างมิติที่สลับกันระหว่างความเป็นระนาบและที่ว่างในทางลึก โดยแสดงดุลยภาพในความงามของสิ่งที่แตกต่างกันระหว่างความสว่างและความมืด การเคลื่อนไหวและสงบนิ่ง การก่อรูปและสลายรูป เพื่อสะท้อนถึงวัฒนธรรมและปรัชญาความเชื่อแบบตะวันตก ในสัจจะธรรม การเกิดดับของชีวิต

The natural world in which we live seems chaotic and without order. By close consideration and observation however, one finds a basic order concealed within the structure of seemingly order-less appearances. Science has discovered the fact that the wide variety of structures and forms in nature, all contain foundation that can be related to mathematics. The balance of mathematics that is most easy to understand is geometry. The smallest microbe, human beings, all living things, every single atomic structure, all can be clarified by geometric order, a kind of order that significantly relates to all natural things. When looking at different things in our environment, our vision is directed by the regularity of the different units appearing in patterns that we see in the natural and man-made world. Being fascinated, our mind will search for, and see, the beauty of specific patterns. This may be the kind of experience that helps us to see the artistic beauty in the order of these patterns. My creative process is based on order and geometric patterns that further leads to the design of pure form. The rhythm of overlapping lines and colors gives rise to a plane with illuminated surface that appears to be in continuous motion and change. Alternating between from and space, a dimension of depth is evoked, showing the beauty of the balance between opposites such as light and dark, motion and stillness, forms that shape and forms that disintegrate. This in order to reflect oriental culture, philosophy and beliefs based on the cycle of birth, existence and extinction.
