<title>Music Performance Anxiety: Insights from Psychological Science</title>

<description>Music Performance Anxiety: Insights from Psychological Science; Music Performance Anxiety: Insights from Psychological Science

Music performance anxiety (MPA) is a multidimensional construct that negatively impacts musicians to different extents but presumably across all musical contexts. Here, we review recent literature concerning theoretical conceptualizations of MPA, and discuss extant interventions relating to cognitive-behavioral therapy and multimodal interventions which, we argue, are at best approaches that remedy MPA only peripherally, and not inherently. Drawing on cognitive psychological research: When students are well-prepared for a high-stakes academic exam, test anxiety did not predict exam performance (Theobald et al., Psychological Science, 2022). This finding provided the foundation for the current hypothesis: Performance-anxious musicians should not perform worse in high-stakes stressful situations than their preparation (practice) would otherwise allow; where musicians are well-prepared, performance anxiety per se should not interfere with stage performance accuracy and quality. Thus, performance-anxiety interventions ought to promote effective practice—optimal, deep learning—at an early stage during performance preparation, rather than aim to reduce test anxiety only shortly before or during stage performance. How, then, might we enable musicians to achieve such effective learning? A counterintuitive learning and practicing strategy as informed by psychological principles and personal reflections is recommended and discussed.; Music performance anxiety (MPA) is a multidimensional construct that negatively impacts musicians to different extents but presumably across all musical contexts. <description>Exercises Based on the Analysis of Melodic Development of Keith Jarrett;
Keith Jarrett is regarded as one of the most influential pianists in the world of jazz. His performance style seamlessly integrates classical music techniques with a profound sense of jazz improvisation. He has played a pivotal role in expanding the boundaries of jazz and has become a major influence on later generations of artists.

This study aims to examine and analyse Keith Jarrett’s improvisational techniques in the composition Prism, composed by Jarrett himself, with a particular focus on motive development. The findings indicate that the motive development can be classified into four categories: (1) development through rhythmic deceleration, (2) development through increased rhythmic density and acceleration, (3) development involving continuous use of Sixteen notes, and (4) sequencing of melodic ideas with transformation in the second sequence. Based on this analysis, nine types of exercises were synthesized and organized according to the same four categories, providing practical tools for performance practice and improvisational training.;

<title>An Analysis of Wes Montgomery's Improvisation in "The Incredible Jazz Guitar Of Wes Montgomery"</title>
<link>https://sure.su.ac.th/xmlui/handle/123456789/31126</link>
<description>An Analysis of Wes Montgomery's Improvisation in "The Incredible Jazz Guitar Of Wes Montgomery"; The Incredible Jazz Guitar Of Wes Montgomery
This research aims to analyze the improvisational techniques of Wes Montgomery as demonstrated in his seminal album The Incredible Jazz Guitar of Wes Montgomery. Three pieces from the album—“Four on Six,” “Polka Dots and Moonbeams,” and “D Natural Blues”—were selected for analysis, each representing different jazz styles in terms of rhythm, melody, and form.

The study was conducted through a detailed transcription and technical analysis of Montgomery’s improvisation, focusing on three key aspects: the use of scales and arpeggios, octave techniques, and motif development. The findings reveal that Montgomery’s improvisational style is not only technically sophisticated but also musically coherent, making his work an exemplary model for jazz guitar students at beginner and intermediate levels.

The results of this study provide a practical framework for developing improvisational skills in jazz guitar performance and contribute to a deeper understanding of bebop and hard bop vocabulary within the jazz tradition.; The Incredible Jazz Guitar of Wes Montgomery ซึ่งถือเป็นหนึ่งในอัลบั้มสำคัญของวงการดนตรีแจ๊ส โดยผู้วิจัยได้เลือกบทเพลงจำนวน 3 บทเพลงเพื่อทำการวิเคราะห์เชิงเทคนิค ได้แก่ “Four on Six”, “Polka Dots and Moonbeams” และ “D Natural Blues” ซึ่งมีลักษณะทางดนตรีที่แตกต่างกัน ทั้งในแง่ของจังหวะ ทำนอง และแนวเพลง

<description>Guidelines for Development of Public Relations for T-POP Girl Groups Artists :  Case Study HatoBito;
This research aims to explore the public relations process of the artist HatoBito, a T-POP girl group, through a mixed methods research approach that combines both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. The qualitative data were obtained through in-depth interviews with two key individuals involved in HatoBito public relations—namely the group’s manager and producer—selected through purposive sampling. The quantitative data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 400 fans of HatoBito and similar groups, with the sample size determined using Taro Yamane’s formula.

Statistical analysis included frequency distribution, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The findings were synthesized to develop public relations strategies for promoting T-POP girl groups, using HatoBito as a case study. The results were categorized into two main areas: 1) aspects that consumers were satisfied with, and 2) aspects suggested for improvement. These were analyzed using two key theoretical models: the AIDA Model and the Customer Journey Model, with a focus on identifying communication channels that influence consumer engagement. The study proposes a public relations development framework that can be utilized by producers to maximize business potential and further support the visibility and growth of HatoBito and other T-POP girl groups in the broader entertainment industry.; (Standard Deviation)
