Abstract

พิพิธภัณฑ์ศิลปะและการจัดแสดงศิลปะประเภทต่างๆ เป็นหนึ่งในสถาบันที่ประเทศญี่ปุ่นให้ ความสนใจและให้การสนับสนุนมาโดยตลอดนับตั้งแต่ช่วงปลายศตวรรษที่ 20 และหลังสงครามโลก ครั้งที่สองเป็นต้นมา สถาบันนี้มีความเปลี่ยนแปลงและพัฒนาการในตัวเองมาโดยตลอด อย่างไรก็ตาม ในช่วงเวลาประมาณ 20 ปีที่ผ่านมา ความเปลี่ยนแปลงในเนื้อหาและวิธีการสร้างสรรค์ศิลปะส่งผลต่อการ จัดแสดงและการสร้างพิพิธภัณฑ์ พิพิธภัณฑ์เปลี่ยนจากพื้นที่เป็นกลางมาเป็นพื้นที่ที่มีส่วนร่วมในการ สร้างบรรยากาศ กำหนดประสบการณ์และเนื้อหาร่วมกับงานศิลปะ ไปจนกระทั่งพิพิธภัณฑ์กับศิลปะ เป็นเนื้อหาเดียวกันอย่างแยกไม่ออก

Art museum along with its art exhibition program is one of the most important educational institutions that Japan has been supporting since the end of the 19th century and after World War II. Inevitably effected from the way artists interpreting arts and using new mediums to express art ideas in contemporary society, this article argued that art museums in contemporary Japan changed accordingly. From a neutral space quietly supporting art, the contemporary art museums has a direct involvement with art expression and art experience. Art and art museum that becomes entirely inseparable entity are among examples can be seen today.
