ดนตรีรังสรรค์ในสถาปัตยกรรม

Abstract

วัตถุประสงค์ของการศึกษา เพื่อกำหนดบทบาทของสถาปัตยกรรม ให้มีส่วนร่วมในการแก้ไขปัญหาคุณภาพชีวิต โดยมุ่งเน้นให้ผู้ใช้อาคารเกิดดุลยภาพแห่งกายและจิต จากการศึกษา องค์ความรู้เชิงคุณค่าทางดนตรีพบว่า ดนตรีมีคุณประโยชน์ส่งผลโดยตรงทั้งร่างกายและจิตใจ เกิดแนวความคิดในการออกแบบสถาปัตยกรรมที่สามารถให้กำเนิดเสียงได้ และทำหน้าที่เสมือนสื่อกลางในการถ่ายทอดเสียงดนตรีไปยังผู้ใช้อาคาร เรียกแนวความคิดนี้ว่า “ดนตรีรังสรรค์ในสถาปัตยกรรม” สมมุติฐานของผู้ศึกษา เชื่อว่า “สถาปัตยกรรมสามารถสร้างเสียงดนตรีได้” โดยปัจจัยที่จะเป็นเครื่องมือในการพิสูจน์สมมุติฐาน ได้แก่ ทฤษฎีการกำเนิดเสียงตามหลักวิทยาศาสตร์ ทฤษฎีดนตรีเกี่ยวกับคุณสมบัติเสียงและทฤษฎีการกำเนิดเสียงตามหลักการออกแบบเครื่องดนตรี รวมเรียกว่า “องค์ความรู้เชิงทฤษฎีทางดนตรี” ผลการศึกษาจากการทดลอง ในลักษณะเชิงเปรียบเทียบกับสถาปัตยกรรม พบว่า เสียงเกิดจากการสั่นสะเทือนของวัตถุที่เรียกว่า “ต้นกำเนิดเสียง” จึงต้องมีการออกแบบต้นกำเนิดเสียงลงใน องค์ประกอบทางสถาปัตยกรรม สิ่งที่เข้ามากระทำให้เกิดการสั่นสะเทือน เรียกว่า”ปัจจัยที่ก่อให้เกิดเสียง” ซึ่งในทางสถาปัตยกรรม ได้แก่ ผู้ใช้อาคาร ธรรมชาติ และเครื่องกล เมื่อต้นกำเนิดเสียงทางสถาปัตยกรรม ถูกกระทำโดยปัจจัยที่ก่อให้เกิดเสียง เรียกว่า “กระบวนการกำเนิดเสียงทางสถาปัตยกรรม” การประยุกต์หลักการของทฤษฎีดนตรีเกี่ยวกับคุณสมบัติเสียง จะทำให้สถาปัตยกรรมสามารถสร้างสรรค์ ท่วงทำนอง จังหวะ และเสียงประสาน ซึ่งเป็นองค์ประกอบหลักทางเสียงดนตรีได้ อีกหนึ่งองค์ประกอบที่สำคัญของเครื่องดนตรี ได้แก่ กะโหลกเสียง ทำหน้าที่กักเก็บเสียงให้มีความก้องกังวาน มีลักษณะคล้ายคลึงกับ ที่ว่างทางสถาปัตยกรรม (Sound Space) กล่าวคือ การออกแบบขนาด และรูปทรงของที่ว่าง จะสามารถจัดการเสียงที่เกิดขึ้นให้มีคุณสมบัติแตกต่างกันไป การออกแบบสถาปัตยกรรมทดลอง จากการวิเคราะห์ผู้ใช้อาคารเป็นหลัก ในวิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้ ผู้ศึกษาหยิบยก “ดนตรีเพื่อสุขภาพตามหลักอี้จิง” มาเป็นกรณีศึกษา จากการศึกษาหลักการเกี่ยวกับความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างเสียงกับธาตุทั้งห้า ว่าด้วยการใช้คุณสมบัติของเสียง สร้างความสมดุลทั้งทางร่างกายและจิตใจ ผู้ศึกษาจึงกำหนดลักษณะโครงการ และกิจกรรมให้มีความสอดคล้องกับ ประเภทของดนตรี ตลอดจนการเลือกที่ตั้งโครงการให้มีความอุดมสมบูรณ์ทางด้าน พลังงานทางธรรมชาติ เพื่อให้เอื้อต่อการสร้างเสียงดนตรีในสถาปัตยกรรม สรุปผลการศึกษา พบว่า สถาปัตยกรรมสามารถสร้างเสียงดนตรีได้ จากหลักการทางทฤษฎีต่างๆ ข้อเสนอแนะสำคัญ ในการสร้างสรรค์เสียงดนตรีในสถาปัตยกรรม คือ ก่อนการออกแบบควรมีการคัดสรรประเภทของเสียงดนตรีให้มีความเหมาะสมกับผู้ใช้อาคารแต่ละประเภท

This research is aimed to study and define role of architecture as a part of correction quality of life to people, which emphasized on both physical and mental balancing treatment. As the researcher believes that music can benefit in many ways, so the study of musical sound qualification has conducted with the inspiration for new perception that architecture can be a tool in transferring those sounds to end- users. The process of study and methodical of thinking has also collected in order to support the conceptual design of “Musical Creation in Architecture” From the assumption that architecture can create sound, the researcher has studied about source of sound theory by following the concept of science and the method of musical instruments design with its qualification of sound theory. The study found that sound can be occurred by object vibration, which called a source of sound. There are three critical factors to create vibration that are end-users, nature and mechanism. As a result when an object has effected by all those factors, the process of sound creation in architecture is also produced. By applying the theory of musical sound qualification, the researcher tried to design architecture in accordance with its pitch, volume, rhythm and timbre that are the major factor of musical sound. The other critical factor that helps in keeping sound and reveals its resonance is Sound Space. By designing various sizes and forms of this sound space, quality of sound and its feature is also different. The ultimate objective of this study is to analyze the requirement of end-users and found that they are all having different style of favorable music. So, the researcher has concentrated to study on the case of “E-Jing, Music for Health”, as it is benefit to a public used for all users and harmonize with the five elements of our body that help to balance abnormality and adjust both physical and mental treatment. In following this concept, the researcher has defined project features and activities to accompany with the category of music. Particularly, site is also important and required to locate on the plenty of natural energy area that can encourage the idea of musical creation in architecture. The conclusion of this study is presented with the proof that architecture can create sound and the assumption is true. An essential suggestion in this thesis is that the design process and its characteristic should be link with the category of music and response to the requirements of end-users actually.
