การประสานกันของรูปทรงที่แปรสภาพ

Abstract

ข้าพเจ้าได้รับความบันดาลใจในการสร้างสรรค์งานวิทยานิพนธ์ศิลป จากการที่ได้เห็นภาพจิตรกรรมฝาผนังของไทย ซึ่งชำรุดทรุดโทรมอันสืบเนื่องจากการที่ปราศจากผู้ดูแลรักษาเอาใจใส่เท่าที่ควร ตลอดจนสภาพของดินฟ้าอากาศ เช่น ความชื้น หรือกาลเวลาที่ล่วงเลยที่ซ้ำเติมให้ภาพจิตรกรรมฝาผนังทรุดโทรมยิ่งขึ้น จากสภาพนี้เองทำให้ข้าพเจ้าสังเกตเห็นรูปทรงที่เกิดขึ้นใหม่ เป็นรูปทรงอิสสระ (Free Form) มีลักษณะเป็นรูปทรง 2 มิติ มีคุณสมบัติในทางแผ่ขยายตัวออกไป รูปทรงดังกล่าวนี้เกิดจากการแปรสภาพของจิตกรรมฝาผนังที่บางส่วนของภาพกะเทาะแตก หลุดลอก ผุกร่อน ค่อย ๆ แปรสภาพไป การแปรสภาพนี้เองสร้างให้เกิดความหมายใหม่ขึ้น นอกเหนือจากความหมายเดิมซึ่งเป็นเรื่องราวทางศาสนา ความหมายที่เกิดขึ้นใหม่นี้เกิดจากการแปรสภาพของภาพจิตรกรรมฝาผนังจากรุปธรรม (Realistic) ไปสู่นามธรรม (Abstract) ข้าพเจ้าจึงนำเอาข้อสังเกตดังกล่าวมาสร้างสรรค์ขึ้นเป็นงานศิลปะส่วน โดยมีจุดมุ่งหมายอยู่สองประการคือ ประการแรก สร้างสรรค์งานศิลปะภาพพิมพ์ที่มีเนื้อหาใหม่ในรูปแบบของศิลปะไทยประเพณี ประการที่สอง สร้างสรรค์งานศิลปะร่วมสมัยที่มีลักษณะประจำชาติ

I gain my inspiration to create this art thesis from noticing. The long neglected, deteriorated Thai Mural painting. Moreover, I am also inspired by the gradual ruin of the Mural painting caused by the weather’s dam press or the passing time. Through this state of the Thai Mural painting, I notice the new two-dimensional free forms with the quality of expansion. This new form derives from the metamorphosis of the cracked, decayed and peeled off Mural painting. Consequently, this metamorphosis causes a new meaning besides the old one concerning religion. The new meaning is the result of the Mural painting’s metamorphosis from realistic to abstract. I take these notices for the creation of my own personal art with two objectives. There are: Firstly, to design the graphic art with the new content in the form of the Thai traditional art; Secondly, to create the contemporary art with national characteristic.
