การศึกษาเชิงวิเคราะห์วรรณกรรมเขมรแนวประวัติศาสตร์ของ "บีว ไฉเลียง"

Abstract

งานวิจัยนี้ มีจุดมุ่งหมายศึกษาวรรณกรรมเขมรแนวประวัติศาสตร์ของ “บีว ไฉเลียง” จำนวน 2 เรื่อง คือ “วีรบุรุษ” และ “วิทยาบุรุษ” เพื่อศึกษาวิเคราะห์องค์ประกอบต่าง ๆ ของนวนิยาย ได้แก่ แนวคิดของเรื่อง โครงเรื่อง กลวิธีการประพันธ์ ตัวละคร บทสนทนา ฉาก ท่วงทำนองการแต่ง ตลอดจนภาพสะท้อนทางวัฒนธรรม ประเพณี ความเชื่อและค่านิยมของชนชาติเขมรที่ได้รับจากวรรณกรรม นวนิยายทั้งสองเรื่องนี้มีเค้าโครงเรื่องที่ใกล้เคียงกัน มีแนวคิดมุ่งเสนอความรักชาติบ้านเมือง เช่นเดียวกัน กลวิธีต่าง ๆ ทางวรรณกรรมก็มีลักษณะเป็นไปในทิศทางเดียวกัน แต่สิ่งที่ต่างกัน คือ รายละเอียดของเนื้อเรื่อง ส่วนท่วงทำนองการแต่งนั้นมีลักษณะการประพันธ์ที่เหมือนกัน ผู้เขียนใช้ภาษาที่ไพเราะสละสลวย มีการใช้คำบาลี – สันสกฤต ค่อนข้างมากแสดงให้เห็นว่าผู้เขียนมีความรู้ทางภาษาและการเลือกสรรคำเป็นอย่างดี สามารถเปรียบเทียบให้ผู้อ่านเห็นภาพพจน์โดยให้คำอุปมาอุปไมย ส่วนในบทสนทนามักใส่เครื่องหมายอัศเจรีย์ วงเล็บ และอัญประกาศกำกับไว้เพื่อสื่อให้ผู้อ่านได้ “เห็น” และ “รู้สึก” ร่วมไปกับนวนิยาย ภาพสะท้อนทางวัฒนธรรม ประเพณี ความเชื่อและค่านิยมจากนวนิยายทั้งสองเรื่องนี้มีลักษณะที่หลากหลายแตกต่างกันไป แม้ว่านวนิยายแนวประวัติศาสตร์ทั้งสองเรื่องนี้จะเขียนไว้นานแล้ว แต่ภาพสะท้อนเหล่านี้ก็ยังคงมีปรากฎให้เห็นถึงปัจจุบัน ดังนั้นการศึกษานวนิยายแนวประวัติศาสตร์ทั้งสองเรื่องนี้จึงสามารถทำให้เข้าใจถึงกลวิธีในการประพันธ์วรรณกรรมของผู้เขียนได้เป็นอย่างดี

This thesis aims to study two historical Khmer literary works authored by Beew Chayleing, namely “The Hero” (Weeraburut) and “The Intellectual” (Wittayaburut). This thesis aims to analyze the main idea, plot, writing strategies, characters, dialogues, settings, and writing style of the two works. Moreover, it analyzes Cambodian’s culture, traditions, beliefs and values as reflected in the literary. Two novels have very similar themes. The view point is patriotism. The literary devices are similar but the details of the story are different. Concerning writing style, the two novels have exactly the same writing style. The author uses beautiful language, including a generous amount of Pali and Sanskrit words. This indicates that the author has an extensive knowledge of languages and has mastered word choice. The author shows comparisons by using similes and metaphors to allow readers to visualize each scene as described in the novels. Punctuations are used in the dialogues, such as exclamation marks, parentheses, quotation marks, in such a way as to engage readers and keep them absorbed in the story. Cambodian’s culture, traditions, beliefs and values as reflected in the two literary works, have various characteristics. Although, two literary works were written for several years but reflections still remains. Studying these two literary historical works allows us to have an insight into the author’s writing strategies.
