การศึกษาระบบเสียงภาษาเขมรบ้านสำโรงบน ตำบลทรายขาว อำเภอสอยดาว จังหวัดจันทบุรี

Abstract

การศึกษาภาษาเขมรบ้านสำโรงบน ตำบลทรายขาว อำเภอสอยดาว จังหวัดจันทบุรี ใช้ทฤษฎีแทคมินิค ศึกษาตั้งแต่ระดับหน่วยเสียง พยางค์ จนถึงคำ ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ว่า ภาษาเขมรบ้านสำโรงฯ ประกอบด้วยหน่วยเสียง 58 หน่วยเสียง เป็นหน่วยเสียงพยัญชนะ 17 หน่วยเสียง หน่วยเสียงสระ 41 หน่วยเสียง หน่วยเสียงพยัญชนะสามารถเกิดเป็นหน่วยเสียงพยัญชนะต้นได้ทั้ง 17 หน่วยเสียง และเป็นหน่วยเสียงพยัญชนะท้าย 14 หน่วยเสียง พยัญชนะควบกล้ำมีทั้งควบกล้ำสองตัว, สามตัว การควบกล้ำของพยัญชนะจัดเป็น 3 ชนิด คือ ควบกล้ำแท้, ควบกล้ำเทียม, และควบกล้ำข้ามพยางค์ หน่วยเสียงสระมีทั้งหน่วยเสียงสระเดี่ยวและหน่วยเสียงสระผสม โดยคุณภาพของเสียงมีทั้งสระธรรมดา และสระลมแทรก โดยความแตกต่างนี้มีนัยสำคัญทางสรวิทยา หน่วยเสียงสระเดี่ยวธรรมดามี 19 หน่วยเสียง หน่วยเสียงสระลมแทรกมี 15 หน่วยเสียง และหน่วยเสียงสระผสมมี 7 หน่วยเสียง โดยแบ่งเป็นหน่วยเสียงสระผสมธรรมดา 4 หน่วยเสียง หน่วยเสียงสระผสมลมแทรก 3 หน่วยเสียง โดยความสั้น-ยาวของเสียงสระเดี่ยวมีนัยสำคัญทางสรวิทยา แต่ความสั้น-ยาวของเสียงสระผสมไม่มีนัยสำคัญทางสรวิทยา พยางค์มีพยางค์หลัก, พยางค์รอง, หน้าพยางค์, และพยางค์นาสิก โดยพยางค์หลักเป็นพยางค์แก่น และพยางค์รอง, หน้าพยางค์, และพยางค์นาสิกเป็นพยางค์ประกอบ การเน้นเสียงในพยางค์ไม่มีนัยสำคัญทางสรวิทยา คำมีคำพยางค์เดียว, คำสองพยางค์, คำสามพยางค์, และคำสี่พยางค์

This master’s report presents the phonological study of the Khmer language spoken at Ban Samrongbon, Tambon Saikhaw, Amphor Soidaw, Chanthaburi Province. This study uses Tagmemic theory to analyse the phoneme, syllable, and the phonological word of the language. The result of this study shows that there are 58 distinguished phonemes. They are 17 consonant phonemes and 41 vowel phonemes. All consonant phonemes can occur initially and consonant phonemes occur finally. There are also two-consonants clusters and three-consonants clusters and all occur initially. The clusters can be divided as true cluster, cluster with juncture [ ], and cluster across syllable boundaries. Other 41 phonemes are vowels which can be classified as 19 normal single vowels, 15 breathy-voiced single vowels, 4 normal diphthongs and 3 breathy-voiced diphthongs. The length of single vowels are significant. There are major syllable, minor syllable, pre-syllable, and nasal syllable. Major syllables are considered as nuclear syllables whereas minor syllables, pre-syllables, and nasal syllables are considered as peripheral syllables. Stress in this language is predictable. Words in this language are mainly monosyllable, however, there are also disyllabic, trisyllabic, and quadrisyllabic words.
