การศึกษาคำศัพท์ไสยศาสตร์ภาษาเขมรถิ่นอำเภอกระสัง จังหวัดบุรีรัมย์

Abstract

งานวิจัยนี้ มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษารูปแบบพิธีกรรม และคำศัพท์ไสยศาสตร์ภาษาเขมร โดยเลือกทำการวิจัยจากพิธีกรรมการสะเดาะเคราะห์และสวดราศี ในเขตอำเภอกระสัง จังหวัดบุรีรัมย์ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า รูปแบบพิธีกรรมสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความเชื่อของคนถิ่นนี้ที่มีความเชื่อทางไสยศาสตร์ และความเชื่อทางพระพุทธศาสนาควบคู่กันไปอย่างกลมกลืน ดังจะเห็นได้จากพิธีกรรมการสะเดาะเคราะห์ที่ใช้พระพุทธมนต์ในการสวด และในพิธีสวดราศี นอกจากจะใช้พระพุทธมนต์ในการสวดแล้ว ผู้ที่สวดประกอบพิธีให้ก็เป็นพระสงฆ์ในพระพุทธศาสนา ส่วนคำศัพท์ทางไสยศาสตร์ที่เก็บรวบรวมมาจากภาษาพูดของผู้บอกข้อมูล นอกจากจะสะท้อนให้เห็นพัฒนาการทางภาษาที่แตกต่างกัน ระหว่างภาษาเขมรถิ่นอำเภอกระสังกับภาษาเขมรในประเทศเขมรแล้ว ยังแสดงให้เห็นถึงการยืมภาษาอื่นมาใช้ ซึ่งยืมมาจากภาษาบาลีสันสกฤตเป็นส่วนมาก ที่ยืมจากภาษาไทยก็มีบ้างแต่น้อยมาก เราสามารถศึกษาเครื่องมือเครื่องใช้ ชีวิตความเป็นอยู่ ตลอดจนถึงความเชื่อของคนโบราณได้จากคำศัพท์ทางไสยศาสตร์ เนื่องจากศัพท์ที่ใช้ในด้านไสยศาสตร์เป็นศัพท์ที่มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงน้อยที่สุดในบรรดาศัพท์ภาษาเขมรที่ใช้พูดกันในเขตภาคอีสานตอนล่างของประเทศไทย นอกจากนี้เครื่องประกอบพิธีและตำแหน่งที่วางเครื่องประกอบพิธี ก็มีความหมายที่สามารถอธิบายได้ ซึ่งควรได้รับการศึกษาให้ถ่องแท้ต่อไป

The objective of this research is to study the pattern of cult ceremony and some Khmer magic vocabulary items from the Sadoh-kroh (kaa kurah) ceremony and Suat-rasi (soot riia-saj) in Amphoe Krasang, Buriram Province. The result of the study indicates that the pattern of cult ceremony reflects the magic beliefs as well as Buddhism beliefs of the people there. The Sadoh-kroh (kaa kruah) ceremony uses Buddhamantra in praying. For the Suat-rasi (soot riiasaj) ceremony, besides using Buddhamantra in praying, the prayers of the ceremony are Buddhistic monks. The magic vocabularies are collected from native speakers who live in the area. The research reflects different development between the Khmer language used in Amphoe Krasang and that used in Cambodia. It also shows that most magic vocabulary items are borrowed from Pali and Sanskrit languages. We can study about the instrument, the styles of living and the ancient beliefs from magic vocabularies. This is because among the Northern khmer vocabularies used in this area, the magic vocabularies change the least. It is suggested that the materials used in the ceremony and their positions signify some beliefs of people which should be further studied. The vivid studies of the interpretation of the material used in the ceremony and their positions are needed.
