การปรับตัวต่อสภาพเศรษฐกิจและสังคมที่เปลี่ยนแปลงของลาวครั่งที่บ้านโคก จังหวัดสุพรรณบุรี

Abstract

การศึกษาวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อให้เห็นภาพรวมของชุมชนระดับหมู่บ้าน ซึ่งเดิมเป็นสังคมเกษตรกรรม ในช่วงเวลาต่อมา ด้วยกระแสแห่งการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางเศรษฐกิจและสังคม ผลักดันให้ผู้คนในชุมชนปรับตัวไปในทิศทางต่าง ๆ ทำให้ชุมชนมีความหลากหลายและซับซ้อนยิ่งขึ้น โดยเฉพาะด้านอาชีพ ทำให้เกิดอาชีพใหม่เพิ่มขึ้นมากมาย ที่เด่นชัดคือเกิดผลผลิตด้านอุตสาหรรมเพิ่มขึ้นมาควบคู่กับผลผลิตด้านเกษตรกรรม จากผลการศึกษาพบว่า ในช่วงที่มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงนี้ สมาชิกรับเอาสิ่งใหม่ ๆ เข้ามาในชุมชนหลายอย่าง ยังผลให้เกิดการเปลี่ยนแปลงในสังคมวัฒนธรรมบ้านโคก สิ่งใหม่เหล่านี้บางสิ่งได้รับไว้อย่างถาวร บางสิ่งได้ยกเลิกไป การเปลี่ยนแปลงของสังคมบ้านโคกเห็นได้ชัดเจนในทางรูปธรรม แต่ทางนามธรรมยังคงรักษารูปแบบเดิมไว้ เพียงแต่เปลี่ยนแปลงเนื้อหาบางอย่าง ทั้งนี้ การเปลี่ยนแปลงทั้ง 1 ทาง ตั้งอยู่บนพื้นฐานของความสัมพันธ์ทางเครือญาติ ความสำนึกในกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ และชุมชนเดียวกัน ซึ่งเป็นความสัมพันธ์อันเหนียวแน่นของชุมชนที่มีอิทธิพลต่อการปรับตัว และการเปลี่ยนแปลงที่เกิดขึ้นภายในชุมชน

The purpose of this study is aimed to reveal an overall picture of a community at the village level. This community, formerly an agricultural society, with the influence of the economic and social changes, has been currently forced to adapt itself in various directions. It is more diversified and complicated especially in making a living. More occupations have been introduced. Its obvious evidence in more industrial products are produced along with agricultural products. The results of the study reveal that, in this period of changes, its members have adopted many new things causing social and cultural changes in Ba-an Kok. Some of the new things are permanently adopted but some were discontinued. The changes of Ba-an Kok society are obvious in material objects but in ideal objects the society still keeps its former patterns with minor changes in some details. Both changes are based on the kinship relation and the ethnic and community perception which are the community vigoroustie influencing the adaptation and changes within the community.
