ช่วงเวลา สะท้อน ภาพชีวิต

Abstract

ชีวิตของคนเราถูกกำหนดด้วยเวลา และถูกขับเคลื่อนด้วยเวลาเช่นกัน การใช้ชีวิตประจำวันของคนเราโดยส่วนมากจะเริ่มขึ้นในตอนเช้าและหยุดพักในตอนค่ำ หรือที่เรียกว่า หาเช้ากินค่ำ ในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานจิตรกรรมชุด “ช่วงเวลาสะท้อนภาพชีวิต” ข้าพเจ้าได้แสดงออกด้วยรูปแบบภาพทิวทัศน์ตลาด โดยนำเสนอผลงานสะท้อนภาพของตลาดที่โดยส่วนมากมีผู้คนพลุกพล่าน แต่เมื่อถึงเวลาหยุดพักกลับเงียบสงัดจนรู้สึกวังเวง โดยนำเสนอให้เห็นถึงบรรยากาศและอารมณ์ที่ไม่คุ้นชิน แสงไฟที่สลัว ประกอบกับวัตถุต่างๆที่ถูกวางทิ้งไว้ภายในตลาดเล่าเรื่องราวของชีวิตประจำวันของผู้คน เพียงแต่นำเสนอมุมมองของช่วงเวลาที่แตกต่าง เปรียบเสมือนเบื้องหลังของการใช้ชีวิตของกลุ่มชนชั้นล่างที่ต้องต่อสู้ดิ้นรนเพื่อความอยู่รอด ซึ่งวัตถุต่างๆในภาพเป็นสื่อแทนความเหนื่อยยาก

Human’s life relies of time and is driven by time. Mostly human’s daily life starts in the morning and finishes in the evening or what we call living from hand to mouth. In this set of paintings “The passage of time reflecting life”, the artist illustrates a landscape image of markets, by presenting a different feeling of time. Normally it is a crowded place, but when it is a break time, it became surprisingly quiet to the point of feeling desolated, which gives of an unusual atmosphere and feeling. The dim light and the objects left in market shows the life style of humans but in a different timing portraying the life of working class that has to struggle to survive. On top of that, the objects in the painting are a symbol of tiredness.
