โลกความฝันของผู้หญิงในวัฒนธรรมสมัยใหม่

Abstract

การที่เราเติบโตขึ้นมากับกระแสโลกแห่งค่านิยมทางวัตถุ ความงาม สื่อ เทคโนโลยีและ วัฒนธรรมสมัยใหม่ ในสภาพแวดล้อมสังคมเมืองที่เต็มไปด้วยสิ่งดึงดูดใจ เสมือนเป็นโลกมายา ซึ่งแทรกซึมเข้ามาในชีวิตประจำวัน จนกลายมาเป็นเพศวิถีแห่งค่านิยม ที่กระตุ้นเร้า มีส่วนร่วม และส่งผลต่อการสร้างลักษณะนิสัย ความคิด พฤติกรรมและลักษณะทางกายภาพให้แก่ผู้หญิง สภาวะดังกล่าวผลักดันให้ข้าพเจ้าสร้างอีกตัวตน อีกพื้นที่หนึ่งขึ้นมา เป็นพื้นที่ในโลกแห่งความฝันและจินตนาการ ซึ่งเรามีอิสระที่จะฝัน และมีทุกอย่างที่อยากจะมีได้ ข้าพเจ้าจึงสร้างภาพและเรื่องราวสะท้อนความคิดฝัน ความทรงจำ มุมมอง ความหลงใหลและผูกพัน ผนวกเข้ากับภาพของผู้หญิง จากสื่อสิ่งพิมพ์ในนิตยสาร ที่เป็นเหมือนตัวแทน ตัวอย่างของกระแสค่านิยม ความคิด พฤติกรรม วัตถุ แฟชั่น ความงามแห่งสังคมร่วมสมัย ที่เราต่างต้องการหาสิ่งมาเติมเต็มร่างกายและจิตใจ เพราะเชื่อว่าทันจะสร้างความสุขและความพึงพอใจให้เราได้

Growing up in the trend of materialism world, beauty, technology and culture of Modernization, the surrounding environment is like an illusionary world which infiltrates into our lives. It creates a sexuality aspect into the social tendency which arouses, be part of, and affecls to the construction of human’s habit, thought, behavior and physical appearance toward femininity. Such condition has forced me to create another imaginative person and space based on my dream and imaginary world, where we have a freedom to acquire whatever we want. In addition. I create pictures and stories reflecting my personal thoughtful dream, memory, point of view, passion and relationship. They are attached together in the selected images of female figures from various magazines. They are like representation of social value, thought, behavior, material, fashion, and beauty of contemporary society, which we believe that they will fulfill the need of our body and mind to create the individual happiness and satisfaction.
