การศึกษาเรื่องแนวทางการอนุรักษ์ภูมิปัญญาของชาวสวนจังหวัดนนทบุรี มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาและรวบรวมข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับภูมิปัญญาและวัฒนธรรมในการทำสวนทุเรียน จังหวัดนนทบุรี เพื่อหาแนวทางที่เหมาะสมในการอนุรักษ์และสืบทอดภูมิปัญญาการทำอาชีพสวนทุเรียนจังหวัดนนทบุรีหลังวิกฤติน้ำท่วมปี 2554 โดยใช้วิธีการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ (Qualitative Research) ศึกษาสวนทุเรียนในพื้นที่ 4 อำเภอ ได้แก่ อำเภอเมือง อำเภอบางกรวย อำเภอบางใหญ่ และอำเภอปากเกร็ด โดยใช้แนวคำถามประกอบการสัมภาษณ์ และการสังเกตการณ์แบบมีส่วนร่วมเป็นเครื่องมือในการศึกษา
ผลการศึกษาพบว่า การทำสวนทุเรียนของเกษตรกรจังหวัดนนทบุรีนั้นมีมาตั้งแต่สมัยกรุงศรีอยุธยา โดยเริ่มจากการปลูกทุเรียนเป็นอาชีพภายในครอบครัว เพื่อซื้อขาย แลกเปลี่ยนระหว่างชาวสวนด้วยกัน ภูมิปัญญาในการปลูกทุเรียนของชาวสวนจังหวัดนนทบุรีนั้น เป็นวิธีการและแนวคิดที่แฝงการพึ่งพาระหว่างคนกับธรรมชาติ และการพึ่งพาระหว่างธรรมชาติกับธรรมชาติ โดยปลูกพืชเล็กใหญ่ให้เอื้ออำนวยประโยชน์ภายในขนัดสวน
ข้อเสนอแนะสำหรับการอนุรักษ์และพัฒนาวัฒนธรรมและภูมิปัญญาของชาวสวนทุเรียนจังหวัดนนทบุรี ได้แก่การจัดทำหลักสูตรการศึกษาเพิ่มเติมในวิชาเพิ่มเติมเฉพาะท้องถิ่นขึ้นใช้ทำการเรียนการสอนภายในโรงเรียนทุกโรงเรียนในท้องถิ่น โดยใช้ครูผู้สอนเป็นชาวสวนทุเรียน การจัดทำเป็นหลักสูตรการศึกษาในโรงเรียน เป็นวิชาการอนุรักษ์ภูมิปัญญาชาวสวนทุเรียนจังหวัดนนทบุรี ซึ่งเป็นวิชาเพิ่มเติมเฉพาะในท้องถิ่นจังหวัดนนทบุรี ใช้ทำการเรียนการสอนภายในโรงเรียนทุกแห่งของจังหวัดนนทบุรี ผู้เป็นเจ้าของภูมิปัญญาชาวสวนทุเรียนจังหวัดนนทบุรีโดยตรง เป็นผู้ทำการสอนให้ความรู้ทั้งภาคทฤษฎีและปฏิบัติ หน่วยงานหลักในการดำเนินการคือ องค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดนนทบุรี จัดทำเอกสารในรูปแบบแผ่นพับ วารสาร หนังสือ โดยนำข้อมูลมาจากชาวสวนที่เป็นเจ้าของภูมิปัญญาที่แท้จริง เผยแพร่ไปไว้ให้นักเรียนและบุคคลทั่วไปได้อ่านในห้องสมุดโรงเรียน ห้องสมุดประชาชน ชาวสวนทุเรียนรวมตัวกันเป็นกลุ่ม จัดให้มีสถานที่ตั้งหรือสำนักงานของกลุ่ม ที่สามารถให้บุคคลทั่วไปที่สนใจติดต่อเพื่อมาศึกษา และรับข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมเกี่ยวกับภูมิปัญญาชาวสวนทุเรียนจังหวัดนนทบุรีได้
This thesis aims to study and collect data on the local durian-growing wisdom and culture form durian growers of Nonthaburi Province. Such information will help the researcher identify suitable approaches to the preservation of the local wisdom of Nonthaburi Durian growers after the crisis of the 2011 flood. Qualitative research methodology was used to collect data from durian growers in 4 districts of Nonthaburi Province : MueangNonthaburi, Bang Kruai, Bang Yai and Pak Kret. The major research tools used were interviews and participant observation.
The study found that durian-growing in Nonthaburi dates back to Ayutthaya period. Durians were grown for household consumption before evolving into growing for exchange among durian growers and finally for trade between durian growers and consumers. The local wisdom of Nonthaburi durian growers is a combination of cultivation techniques and subtle concepts about the interdependent relationship between man and nature as well as nature and nature. Durian orchards are generally interspersed with plants of different sizes, both large and small, for different benefits.
Suggested approaches that are suitable for the conservation and development of the local wisdom and culture of Nonthaburi durian growers include : creating a specific curriculum on the preservation of Nonthaburi durian growers’ wisdom, which can be designed as a supplementary subject to be taught in schools in Nonthaburi Province only. Teachers can be recruited from the real durian growers of Nonthaburi who are the direct receivers and transmitters of this wisdom. They can teach both theoretical and practical knowledge at all schools in the province. The key unit that should be responsible for this operation should be the Provincial Administration Organization of Nonthaburi. It should publish documents in the forms of brochures, magazines, and books. The findings of this study, which came directly from durian growers, should be disseminated and distributed to both school and public libraries. Durian growers should form groups with a contact point or formal office where interested persons can visit to obtain additional information and knowledge on this special form of local wisdom.
